Las declaraciones se produjeron durante una asamblea del <strong>Partido de la Liberaci\u00f3n Dominicana (PLD)<\/strong> en Hato Mayor, donde Medina asegur\u00f3 que la poblaci\u00f3n dominicana ha visto <strong>deteriorarse sus condiciones de vida<\/strong> desde 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cifras en disputa<\/strong> Abinader destac\u00f3 en la <strong>ONU<\/strong> que la pobreza moderada se redujo del <strong>25.8% en 2019 al 18.05% en 2025<\/strong>. Sin embargo, Medina afirm\u00f3 que estas cifras <strong>no reflejan la realidad<\/strong> y que la clase media ha sido <strong>empujada hacia la pobreza<\/strong>. \u00abEsta nefasta obra de Gobierno los ha mandado de nuevo a vivir en la pobreza\u00bb, declar\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cr\u00edticas a la gesti\u00f3n actual<\/strong> Medina record\u00f3 logros de su administraci\u00f3n, como el <strong>Sistema 911<\/strong>, que ofrec\u00eda una respuesta eficiente en minutos. \u00abA los 5 minutos de llamar al 911, llegaba una motocicleta con param\u00e9dicos, y en 8 o 10 minutos, una ambulancia\u00bb, afirm\u00f3, criticando que el servicio actual no mantiene esos est\u00e1ndares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Programas sociales en riesgo<\/strong> El expresidente tambi\u00e9n mencion\u00f3 el <strong>Programa de Medicamentos de Alto Costo<\/strong>, creado para garantizar tratamientos a pacientes con enfermedades catastr\u00f3ficas. Medina asegur\u00f3 que este programa <strong>evitaba que familias cayeran en la miseria<\/strong>, pero que ahora est\u00e1 en riesgo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Respuesta del Gobierno<\/strong> La <strong>Direcci\u00f3n de Acceso a Medicamentos de Alto Costo (Damac)<\/strong> respondi\u00f3 que las acusaciones son <strong>\u00abintenciones pol\u00edticas\u00bb<\/strong>.
