Seg\u00fan las estimaciones, su inauguraci\u00f3n en <strong>2032<\/strong> <strong>crear\u00e1 m\u00e1s de 70,000 empleos<\/strong> y mejorar\u00e1 significativamente la movilidad de los residentes, muchos de los cuales dependen del transporte p\u00fablico para acceder a oportunidades laborales. <em>\u00abEste proyecto es un salvavidas para la clase trabajadora de East Harlem\u00bb<\/em>, declar\u00f3 Espaillat, quien calific\u00f3 la congelaci\u00f3n de fondos como un <strong>\u00abataque directo\u00bb<\/strong> a las comunidades m\u00e1s vulnerables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El <strong>Proyecto Gateway<\/strong>, que busca modernizar la l\u00ednea ferroviaria entre <strong>Nueva York y Nueva Jersey<\/strong>, tambi\u00e9n se vio afectado por la decisi\u00f3n del <strong>Departamento de Transporte federal<\/strong>. McCarthy<\/strong>, jefe de pol\u00edticas de la MTA, critic\u00f3 que la Administraci\u00f3n Trump <strong>\u00abest\u00e1 creando obst\u00e1culos artificiales\u00bb<\/strong> para retrasar iniciativas que son <strong>vitales<\/strong> para la econom\u00eda y la movilidad de la regi\u00f3n.
