El convenio, firmado por <strong>Guido G\u00f3mez Mazara<\/strong> (Indotel) y <strong>Jean Garc\u00eda Periche<\/strong> (CIP), establece la creaci\u00f3n de la <strong>Academia de Inteligencia Artificial de Rep\u00fablica Dominicana<\/strong>, una iniciativa que buscar\u00e1 <strong>formar talento especializado<\/strong> y promover la <strong>alfabetizaci\u00f3n digital<\/strong> en la sociedad. La academia, respaldada por <strong>universidades nacionales<\/strong>, funcionar\u00e1 como una <strong>plataforma de innovaci\u00f3n<\/strong> y una <strong>incubadora de proyectos<\/strong> con impacto en los \u00e1mbitos social, econ\u00f3mico y gubernamental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>G\u00f3mez Mazara resalt\u00f3 que la <strong>inteligencia artificial y la ciberseguridad<\/strong> son \u00e1reas <strong>fundamentales<\/strong> para el dise\u00f1o de <strong>pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas modernas<\/strong> y para la formaci\u00f3n de las nuevas generaciones. El titular de Indotel destac\u00f3 el compromiso de la instituci\u00f3n de respaldar esta iniciativa con <strong>apoyo t\u00e9cnico, acad\u00e9mico y financiero<\/strong>, con el objetivo de impulsar la <strong>transformaci\u00f3n digital<\/strong> y contribuir al <strong>desarrollo sostenible<\/strong> del pa\u00eds. \u00abLa IA es una herramienta esencial para modernizar el Estado y mejorar la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos\u00bb, afirm\u00f3 G\u00f3mez Mazara, quien tambi\u00e9n subray\u00f3 la importancia de <strong>integrar la tecnolog\u00eda<\/strong> en los procesos de toma de decisiones p\u00fablicas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jean Garc\u00eda Periche<\/strong>, presidente del CIP, destac\u00f3 que esta alianza con Indotel es una <strong>articulaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica<\/strong> para fortalecer el <strong>ecosistema de IA en la regi\u00f3n<\/strong>, especialmente en el contexto de la <strong>Estrategia Nacional de Inteligencia Artificial<\/strong> respaldada por el Gobierno. Garc\u00eda Periche se\u00f1al\u00f3 que esta estrategia abre <strong>nuevas oportunidades<\/strong> para impulsar un modelo econ\u00f3mico basado en la <strong>productividad y el talento humano<\/strong>, y reiter\u00f3 el compromiso del CIP de acompa\u00f1ar este proceso como un <strong>tema de Estado<\/strong>. \u00abLa IA no es solo una tecnolog\u00eda, sino un <strong>motor de desarrollo<\/strong> que puede transformar sectores clave como la educaci\u00f3n, la salud y la gesti\u00f3n p\u00fablica\u00bb, declar\u00f3 el presidente del CIP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El acuerdo tambi\u00e9n contempla la <strong>ejecuci\u00f3n de la Estrategia Regional de Inteligencia Artificial<\/strong> en el marco del <strong>Sistema de la Integraci\u00f3n Centroamericana (SICA)<\/strong>, mediante la conformaci\u00f3n de un <strong>Consorcio Regional de IA<\/strong> que integrar\u00e1 a <strong>gobiernos, universidades, empresas y organizaciones civiles<\/strong>. Este consorcio buscar\u00e1 fomentar la <strong>cooperaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica<\/strong> y el desarrollo de proyectos con impacto regional. Indotel se compromete a <strong>promover la integraci\u00f3n regional en materia de IA<\/strong>, respaldar el despliegue de la academia como plataforma de formaci\u00f3n, y fomentar el uso de <strong>sistemas de IA p\u00fablica<\/strong> orientados al bien com\u00fan, bajo principios de <strong>\u00e9tica, inclusi\u00f3n y transparencia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El convenio tambi\u00e9n establece la creaci\u00f3n de una <strong>unidad de coordinaci\u00f3n<\/strong> integrada por representantes de ambas instituciones, que supervisar\u00e1 la ejecuci\u00f3n de los compromisos, establecer\u00e1 mecanismos operativos y garantizar\u00e1 el cumplimiento de los objetivos. El CIP liderar\u00e1 la <strong>Academia de Inteligencia Artificial<\/strong> en colaboraci\u00f3n con instituciones acad\u00e9micas nacionales y desarrollar\u00e1 <strong>soluciones de IA<\/strong> aplicadas a sectores clave como <strong>educaci\u00f3n, salud, justicia y gesti\u00f3n p\u00fablica<\/strong>.
