El <strong>acusado<\/strong> es <strong>Richard Bilodeau<\/strong>, un <strong>hombre de 63 a\u00f1os<\/strong> que en la actualidad trabaja en <strong>Walmart<\/strong> y que fue <strong>vinculado al crimen gracias a pruebas de ADN<\/strong> que lo ubican en el lugar de los hechos. Bilodeau, quien en <strong>1984 ten\u00eda 24 a\u00f1os<\/strong> y viv\u00eda cerca de la pista de patinaje, <strong>neg\u00f3 inicialmente<\/strong> cualquier conexi\u00f3n con Theresa, pero las pruebas gen\u00e9ticas lo <strong>desmintieron rotundamente<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El <strong>fiscal Jared Rosenblatt<\/strong> revel\u00f3 en corte que el <strong>ADN de Bilodeau<\/strong>, obtenido de un <strong>vaso desechado<\/strong> en un <strong>Tropical Smoothie<\/strong> en febrero de 2025, <strong>coincidi\u00f3 con el encontrado en el cuerpo de la v\u00edctima<\/strong> en 1984. <em>\u00abEl ADN no miente\u00bb<\/em>, declar\u00f3 la <strong>fiscal Anne Donnelly<\/strong>, quien record\u00f3 que el cuerpo de Theresa fue hallado <strong>\u00aba pocas cuadras de Hot Skates\u00bb<\/strong>, el lugar donde trabajaba como <strong>aspirante a bailarina<\/strong>. Los tres recibieron una <strong>indemnizaci\u00f3n de $43 millones<\/strong> por el <strong>error judicial<\/strong>, pero el da\u00f1o a sus vidas fue <strong>irreparable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El <strong>padre de Theresa, Thomas Fusco<\/strong>, quien <strong>luch\u00f3 incansablemente<\/strong> por justicia, expres\u00f3 su <strong>alivio y gratitud<\/strong>: <em>\u00abNunca perd\u00ed la esperanza. Saber que alguien pagar\u00e1 por lo que le hizo a mi hija nos dar\u00e1 un cierre. Es desgarrador, pero al menos ahora hay respuestas\u00bb<\/em>.
