El <strong>apag\u00f3n general<\/strong>, que comenz\u00f3 alrededor del mediod\u00eda del martes, dej\u00f3 al pa\u00eds sin electricidad durante m\u00e1s de <strong>12 horas<\/strong>, afectando servicios esenciales y el transporte p\u00fablico. Aunque las causas exactas a\u00fan no est\u00e1n claras, Marranzini mencion\u00f3 que se ha hablado de un <strong>\u00abmal manejo en la subestaci\u00f3n de San Pedro de Macor\u00eds\u00bb<\/strong> como posible origen del problema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde el a\u00f1o <strong>2000<\/strong>, el pa\u00eds ha experimentado <strong>13 apagones generales<\/strong>, con una notable reducci\u00f3n en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os: solo uno desde <strong>2015<\/strong>. <strong>\u00abEl hecho de que no haya habido uno en siete a\u00f1os indica que el sistema se ha robustecido\u00bb<\/strong>, afirm\u00f3 Marranzini. Sin embargo, el apag\u00f3n de este martes demostr\u00f3 que a\u00fan persisten <strong>vulnerabilidades t\u00e9cnicas<\/strong>, especialmente en la gesti\u00f3n de la <strong>energ\u00eda solar<\/strong>, que representaba el <strong>40%<\/strong> de la generaci\u00f3n en el momento del fallo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan la <strong>Empresa de Transmisi\u00f3n El\u00e9ctrica Dominicana (ETED)<\/strong>, la salida de unidades de generaci\u00f3n en <strong>San Pedro de Macor\u00eds<\/strong> provoc\u00f3 un <strong>efecto domin\u00f3<\/strong> que llev\u00f3 al colapso total del sistema. Marranzini sugiri\u00f3 que la <strong>falta de un sistema de bater\u00edas adecuado<\/strong> para compensar la intermitencia de la energ\u00eda solar pudo haber sido un factor clave. \u00abLa generaci\u00f3n solar es muy vol\u00e1til, y si no hay un respaldo adecuado, cualquier falla puede desencadenar un apag\u00f3n general\u00bb, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El presidente de la CUED tambi\u00e9n advirti\u00f3 sobre la <strong>politizaci\u00f3n del tema<\/strong> y la necesidad de un an\u00e1lisis t\u00e9cnico imparcial. \u00abNo hay muchos t\u00e9cnicos para analizar esto; se necesita un equipo que no est\u00e9 vinculado a ning\u00fan partido pol\u00edtico\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3. Mientras tanto, las autoridades informaron que <strong>25 plantas generadoras<\/strong> ya se han reintegrado al sistema el\u00e9ctrico nacional, aunque a\u00fan se trabaja en la estabilizaci\u00f3n total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marranzini prometi\u00f3 que, para <strong>finales de 2025<\/strong>, se implementar\u00e1n soluciones para evitar futuros apagones.
