La iniciativa, que actualmente es revisada por la <strong>Comisi\u00f3n de Hacienda de la C\u00e1mara de Diputados<\/strong>, busca atender el <strong>incremento en la demanda<\/strong> de usuarios, especialmente en el tramo <strong>Concepci\u00f3n Bona-Mar\u00eda Montez<\/strong>, tras las mejoras en la <strong>L\u00ednea 1<\/strong> y la pr\u00f3xima apertura de la <strong>L\u00ednea 2C<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Un financiamiento con visi\u00f3n a largo plazo<\/strong> El pr\u00e9stamo, gestionado a trav\u00e9s de la <strong>Agencia Francesa de Desarrollo (AFD)<\/strong>, se pagar\u00e1 en <strong>42 cuotas semestrales<\/strong> hasta <strong>2049<\/strong>, lo que garantiza un <strong>impacto sostenible<\/strong> en la infraestructura del Metro. El mandatario ya hab\u00eda se\u00f1alado la necesidad de esta ampliaci\u00f3n en <strong>agosto de 2025<\/strong>, durante la entrega de nuevos trenes para la L\u00ednea 1, destacando la importancia de <strong>modernizar el sistema<\/strong> para responder al crecimiento de la ciudad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Beneficios para los usuarios y la ciudad<\/strong> La ampliaci\u00f3n de la L\u00ednea 2 no solo <strong>aumentar\u00e1 la capacidad<\/strong> de transporte, sino que tambi\u00e9n contribuir\u00e1 a <strong>reducir la congesti\u00f3n vehicular<\/strong> y mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes del Gran Santo Domingo.
