El caso ha generado indignaci\u00f3n en Hait\u00ed, donde se vincula con los <strong>actos de violencia y discriminaci\u00f3n<\/strong> que enfrentan los migrantes haitianos en el pa\u00eds vecino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En un <strong>comunicado oficial<\/strong>, el CPT expres\u00f3 su <strong>dolor<\/strong> por la tragedia y extendi\u00f3 sus condolencias a la familia de Stephora. Adem\u00e1s, <strong>reconoci\u00f3 el trabajo de los representantes diplom\u00e1ticos haitianos<\/strong> en Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, quienes han acompa\u00f1ado a los padres de la ni\u00f1a durante este dif\u00edcil momento. <em>\u00abEl Consejo lamenta profundamente que miles de migrantes haitianos hayan sido afectados por actos de violencia y abusos que atentan contra su dignidad\u00bb<\/em>, se\u00f1al\u00f3 el documento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Un llamado a la justicia y la transparencia<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El CPT inst\u00f3 a las autoridades dominicanas a <strong>investigar con transparencia<\/strong> y garantizar que se haga justicia. <em>\u00abEstas situaciones requieren respuestas responsables y conformes con los compromisos bilaterales e internacionales\u00bb<\/em>, afirm\u00f3 el Consejo, que tambi\u00e9n <strong>reiter\u00f3 su disposici\u00f3n a colaborar<\/strong> con Rep\u00fablica Dominicana en la investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stephora <strong>falleci\u00f3 el 14 de noviembre<\/strong> en una hacienda de Gurabo, donde participaba en una excursi\u00f3n escolar. Seg\u00fan informes preliminares, <strong>muri\u00f3 ahogada<\/strong>, aunque a\u00fan no se han revelado detalles definitivos sobre las circunstancias del accidente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reacciones en Rep\u00fablica Dominicana<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La <strong>procuradora general dominicana, Yeni Berenice Reynoso<\/strong>, orden\u00f3 a la <strong>Direcci\u00f3n General de Persecuci\u00f3n del Ministerio P\u00fablico<\/strong> y a la <strong>Dinnaf<\/strong> que <strong>aceleren las investigaciones<\/strong>. <em>\u00abEs una situaci\u00f3n muy dolorosa, y esperamos que pronto se aclare la verdad\u00bb<\/em>, declar\u00f3 la <strong>vicepresidenta Raquel Pe\u00f1a<\/strong>, quien tambi\u00e9n expres\u00f3 su solidaridad con la familia de la ni\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Un contexto de discriminaci\u00f3n y deportaciones masivas<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El caso de Stephora ha reavivado las tensiones entre Hait\u00ed y Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, especialmente en un contexto donde los <strong>migrantes haitianos enfrentan violencia y discriminaci\u00f3n<\/strong>.
