El bad\u00e9n que genera controversia en Santo Domingo<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>La instalaci\u00f3n de un <strong>bad\u00e9n reductor de velocidad<\/strong> en la <strong>avenida George Washington<\/strong> ha generado <strong>cr\u00edticas generalizadas<\/strong> entre conductores, quienes denuncian que su <strong>altura excesiva (30 cm)<\/strong> ha causado <strong>da\u00f1os a veh\u00edculos<\/strong> y <strong>aumentado el congestionamiento<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Henry L\u00f3pez<\/strong>, conductor, lo describi\u00f3 como <strong>\u00abun puente\u00bb<\/strong> y no un bad\u00e9n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u00abEso es un abuso, eso es un puente que est\u00e1n haciendo ah\u00ed. Lo que pasa es que el transporte estaba funcionando bien y como no quieren que las cosas funcionen bien, ellos hacen ese puente para que se haga m\u00e1s tapones.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Guavaro Arqu\u00edmides<\/strong>, transportista tur\u00edstico, relat\u00f3 un incidente con turistas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u00abAyer ven\u00eda yo con unos turistas del aeropuerto de Punta Cana y cuando vol\u00e9 aqu\u00ed, que no me hab\u00eda percatado que estaba, unos turistas se dieron hasta unos golpes. Ese reductor est\u00e1 muy mal aqu\u00ed, yo no le hallo la l\u00f3gica.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. \u00bfQu\u00e9 dice la normativa internacional sobre los badenes?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan <strong>est\u00e1ndares internacionales de seguridad vial<\/strong>, los badenes deben cumplir con:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Altura m\u00e1xima de 10 cm<\/strong> (el bad\u00e9n del Malec\u00f3n tiene <strong>30 cm<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pendiente suave<\/strong> para evitar frenados bruscos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n clara<\/strong> con antelaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>El bad\u00e9n instalado <strong>no cumple con estos requisitos<\/strong>, lo que ha generado <strong>accidentes y da\u00f1os a veh\u00edculos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. El plan del Intrant: \u00bfUn corredor tur\u00edstico y familiar?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>El bad\u00e9n es parte de un <strong>plan del Intrant<\/strong> para convertir la avenida George Washington en un <strong>corredor tur\u00edstico y familiar<\/strong>, con l\u00edmites de velocidad de <strong>30 km\/h<\/strong>. Sin embargo, los conductores <strong>cuestionan su viabilidad<\/strong>, argumentando que:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La avenida <strong>no est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ada para velocidades tan bajas<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La medida <strong>no considera el impacto en el tr\u00e1fico<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>No hay educaci\u00f3n vial<\/strong> que acompa\u00f1e la instalaci\u00f3n de badenes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jos\u00e9 Cordero<\/strong>, a favor de la medida, dijo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u00abLos dominicanos no tenemos educaci\u00f3n vial. Si tuvi\u00e9ramos educaci\u00f3n, nos acoger\u00edamos a las medidas que van a beneficiar ma\u00f1ana la calidad de vida.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4.
