Durante una reuni\u00f3n de revisi\u00f3n, Abinader asegur\u00f3 que el evento, que se realizar\u00e1 del <strong>24 de julio al 8 de agosto de 2026<\/strong>, avanza con <strong>holgura<\/strong> y se perfila como <strong>el mejor de la historia<\/strong>, con la participaci\u00f3n de <strong>6,220 atletas de 37 pa\u00edses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jos\u00e9 Monegro<\/strong>, presidente del Comit\u00e9 Organizador, inform\u00f3 que las <strong>remodelaciones de las instalaciones deportivas<\/strong> avanzan seg\u00fan el cronograma, con inspecciones de <strong>Centro Caribe Sports<\/strong>. Adem\u00e1s, se anunci\u00f3 que, a partir de <strong>abril de 2026<\/strong>, se iniciar\u00e1 el <strong>recorrido de la antorcha<\/strong> por todas las provincias del pa\u00eds. Entre las <strong>novedades<\/strong>, se destaca la construcci\u00f3n de un <strong>parque urbano en el malec\u00f3n de Santo Domingo<\/strong> para competencias de <strong>skate y patinaje<\/strong>, y la distribuci\u00f3n de disciplinas en provincias como <strong>Peravia, Santiago, Punta Cana y Monse\u00f1or Nouel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Comit\u00e9 tambi\u00e9n resalt\u00f3 su enfoque en la <strong>austeridad y modernizaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, buscando <strong>reducir el presupuesto inicial<\/strong> de <strong>185 millones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong> mediante la <strong>rehabilitaci\u00f3n de instalaciones existentes<\/strong>.
