La actividad se convirti\u00f3 en un espacio de encuentro para celebrar la identidad cultural y promover la participaci\u00f3n c\u00edvica de la comunidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante el evento, Sammy Ravelo expres\u00f3 su entusiasmo por la colaboraci\u00f3n con el NYYRC\u2013Hispanic Caucus. \u201cEstamos emocionados de tener esta incre\u00edble oportunidad de que el NYYRC Hispanic Caucus sea coanfitri\u00f3n de nuestra celebraci\u00f3n del Mes de la Herencia Dominicana. Esta alianza resalta nuestro compromiso compartido de celebrar nuestra cultura y nuestra comunidad\u201d, manifest\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ravelo agreg\u00f3 que el prop\u00f3sito del club es honrar hoy y siempre las ricas contribuciones de la herencia dominicana, promoviendo valores de trabajo, familia y participaci\u00f3n ciudadana. \u201cLo que estamos haciendo hoy es reconocer juntos el impacto de nuestra cultura. Gracias al NYYRC Hispanic Caucus por su respaldo. Ha sido una celebraci\u00f3n inolvidable\u201d, sostuvo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre las personalidades especiales se destac\u00f3 la presencia de la candidata a la Asamblea del Estado de Nueva York, Shery Olivo, quien valor\u00f3 el esfuerzo de las organizaciones republicanas en crear espacios de integraci\u00f3n cultural y di\u00e1logo pol\u00edtico. Olivo resalt\u00f3 la importancia de que la comunidad dominicana contin\u00fae ampliando su representaci\u00f3n en los distintos niveles de gobierno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asimismo, participaron las l\u00edderes comunitarias Naiomi Rodriguez y Jannet Rodr\u00edguez, quienes coincidieron en se\u00f1alar que el Mes de la Herencia Dominicana no solo es una celebraci\u00f3n cultural, sino tambi\u00e9n una oportunidad para reconocer el impacto econ\u00f3mico, social y profesional de los dominicanos en Nueva York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rodr\u00edguez destac\u00f3 que actividades como esta fomentan el liderazgo de las nuevas generaciones y promueven la unidad dentro de la diversidad pol\u00edtica. \u201cNuestra comunidad ha demostrado que con esfuerzo y organizaci\u00f3n podemos ocupar espacios de influencia y servir de puente entre culturas\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por su parte, Naiomi Rodr\u00edguez subray\u00f3 que el Mes de la Herencia Dominicana es un recordatorio del sacrificio de miles de familias que emigraron en busca de oportunidades y que hoy contribuyen activamente al desarrollo de la ciudad y del estado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El evento tambi\u00e9n sirvi\u00f3 como plataforma para motivar la inscripci\u00f3n de nuevos miembros y voluntarios interesados en participar en iniciativas comunitarias, fortaleciendo as\u00ed la presencia de los dominico-americanos
