Durante el evento, Collado destac\u00f3 que este torneo de tenis, parte del circuito <strong>ATP Challenger 175<\/strong>, es un <strong>ejemplo de c\u00f3mo Rep\u00fablica Dominicana est\u00e1 evolucionando<\/strong> m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del tradicional turismo de <strong>sol y playa<\/strong>, hacia un modelo que incluye <strong>eventos deportivos de alto nivel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>El proceso detr\u00e1s del torneo: De la idea a la realidad<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Collado record\u00f3 que, cuando se present\u00f3 la oportunidad de traer un torneo de la <strong>ATP<\/strong> a Punta Cana, el <strong>Ministerio de Turismo no dud\u00f3 en apoyarlo<\/strong>:<br><em>\u00abRecuerdo que cuando nos hablaron de ubicar un torneo entre Indian Wells y Miami Open, de inmediato dijimos que s\u00ed. Enviamos la carta de garant\u00eda y hoy vemos el resultado: un evento que atrae a jugadores y turistas de todo el mundo\u00bb<\/em>, dijo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ministro resalt\u00f3 que este torneo es <strong>\u00abun hijo nuestro\u00bb<\/strong>, ya que desde su gestaci\u00f3n, el gobierno dominicano <strong>trabaj\u00f3 para hacerlo realidad<\/strong>, demostrando que el pa\u00eds puede ser sede de <strong>eventos deportivos de primer nivel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Turismo deportivo: Una apuesta con futuro<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Collado enfatiz\u00f3 que el <strong>RD Open Cap Cana<\/strong> es solo el <strong>primer paso<\/strong> en una estrategia m\u00e1s amplia para <strong>diversificar el turismo<\/strong> en Rep\u00fablica Dominicana:<br><em>\u00abSomos un pa\u00eds de gente buena y trabajadora, pero tambi\u00e9n un pa\u00eds de grandes eventos. Esto es turismo deportivo, y vamos a seguir avanzando para lograr un ATP 250 y m\u00e1s eventos que inspiren a nuestros j\u00f3venes\u00bb<\/em>, declar\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ministro tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 que el pa\u00eds est\u00e1 <strong>dando un ejemplo al mundo<\/strong> en materia de turismo, combinando sus <strong>atractivos tradicionales<\/strong> con una <strong>oferta deportiva de alto nivel<\/strong>, que incluye no solo tenis, sino tambi\u00e9n b\u00e9isbol y otros deportes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Un momento hist\u00f3rico para el deporte y el turismo<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Collado se\u00f1al\u00f3 que Rep\u00fablica Dominicana vive <strong>semanas hist\u00f3ricas<\/strong> para el deporte, con el <strong>RD Open Cap Cana<\/strong> y el <strong>Cl\u00e1sico Mundial de B\u00e9isbol<\/strong> ocurriendo al mismo tiempo.
