Este observatorio, que actuar\u00e1 como <strong>veedor del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente (Mimarena)<\/strong>, ser\u00e1 fundamental para <strong>supervisar la protecci\u00f3n de los recursos naturales<\/strong> y garantizar el <strong>uso sostenible de las \u00e1reas protegidas<\/strong>, en un contexto donde la <strong>degradaci\u00f3n ambiental<\/strong> y el <strong>cambio clim\u00e1tico<\/strong> representan desaf\u00edos crecientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>El Observatorio: Un paso hacia la sostenibilidad<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El Observatorio de Pol\u00edticas Ambientales tendr\u00e1 como <strong>objetivos principales<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Supervisar el cumplimiento<\/strong> de las pol\u00edticas ambientales por parte del Mimarena y otros organismos del Estado.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Generar informaci\u00f3n ambiental<\/strong> de manera <strong>independiente y accesible<\/strong> para el p\u00fablico.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fomentar la cooperaci\u00f3n<\/strong> entre instituciones p\u00fablicas, acad\u00e9micas y organizaciones de la sociedad civil en la <strong>gesti\u00f3n ambiental<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfQui\u00e9nes forman parte de la comisi\u00f3n?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La comisi\u00f3n est\u00e1 integrada por <strong>organizaciones ambientales, universidades y representantes de la sociedad civil<\/strong>, entre ellas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Academia de Ciencias de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Grupo Jaragua<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fundaci\u00f3n Acci\u00f3n Verde<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fundaci\u00f3n Moscoso Puello<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Guak\u00eda Ambiente<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Comisi\u00f3n Ambiental de la UASD<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sociedad Ecol\u00f3gica del Cibao<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Federaci\u00f3n de Campesinos Hacia el Progreso<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fundaci\u00f3n Dominicana de Derecho, Defensa y Educaci\u00f3n Ambiental<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Un representante del Mimarena<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Universidades interesadas<\/strong> en sumarse al proceso.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Plazos y pr\u00f3ximos pasos<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La comisi\u00f3n tiene <strong>45 d\u00edas<\/strong> para:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Elaborar y aprobar los estatutos<\/strong> del Observatorio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Definir su modelo de sostenibilidad financiera<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Establecer un plan de acci\u00f3n y reglamento operativo<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Una vez cumplido este plazo, dispondr\u00e1 de <strong>15 d\u00edas adicionales<\/strong> para gestionar su <strong>habilitaci\u00f3n ante el Mimarena<\/strong> y asegurar los recursos t\u00e9cnicos y econ\u00f3micos necesarios para su funcionamiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El gobierno, a trav\u00e9s de la <strong>Presidencia y el Mimarena<\/strong>, aportar\u00e1 <strong>fondos iniciales<\/strong> para garantizar el inicio de las operaciones del Observatorio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Un avance en la protecci\u00f3n de las \u00e1reas protegidas<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El Observatorio de Pol\u00edticas Ambientales ser\u00e1 una <strong>herramienta clave<\/strong> para:<br>\u2705 <strong>Monitorear el estado de las \u00e1reas protegidas<\/strong> y garantizar su conservaci\u00f3n.<br>\u2705 <strong>Promover pr\u00e1cticas sostenibles<\/strong> en el uso de los recursos naturales.<br>\u2705 <strong>Fortalecer la participaci\u00f3n ciudadana<\/strong> en la gesti\u00f3n ambiental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u00abEste Observatorio no solo ser\u00e1 un espacio de supervisi\u00f3n, sino tambi\u00e9n un motor para impulsar pol\u00edticas ambientales m\u00e1s efectivas y transparentes en nuestro pa\u00eds\u00bb<\/em>, afirm\u00f3 el presidente Abinader durante la ceremonia de juramentaci\u00f3n, realizada en el <strong>Sal\u00f3n Las Cari\u00e1tides del Palacio Nacional<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>El compromiso con un futuro sostenible<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La creaci\u00f3n del Observatorio refleja el <strong>compromiso del gobierno dominicano<\/strong> con la <strong>protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente<\/strong> y la <strong>gesti\u00f3n sostenible de los recursos naturales<\/strong>.
