Estas tasas corresponden al <strong>mercado spot<\/strong>, un componente clave del sistema financiero que determina el valor del d\u00f3lar en el pa\u00eds. Pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 es el mercado spot y por qu\u00e9 es importante para la econom\u00eda dominicana?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el mercado spot?<\/strong><br>El <strong>mercado spot<\/strong> (o mercado al contado) es donde se realizan <strong>transacciones inmediatas<\/strong> de compra y venta de divisas, como el d\u00f3lar estadounidense. A diferencia del mercado de derivados, donde las operaciones se liquidan en fechas futuras, en el mercado spot las transacciones se completan <strong>en el mismo d\u00eda o en un plazo m\u00e1ximo de 48 horas<\/strong>. Este mercado incluye:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Operaciones en efectivo<\/strong> (cambio de dinero f\u00edsico en casas de cambio o bancos).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Transferencias bancarias<\/strong> (movimientos de dinero entre cuentas en diferentes monedas).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cheques<\/strong> (pagos en d\u00f3lares mediante cheques bancarios).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 son importantes estas tasas?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Promedio ponderado:<\/strong> Las tasas publicadas por el BCRD son el resultado de un <strong>c\u00e1lculo basado en el volumen y el valor de todas las transacciones<\/strong> realizadas en el mercado spot durante el d\u00eda.
