Pero, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 se mantiene esta pr\u00e1ctica? \u00bfQu\u00e9 significado tiene hoy?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>El origen religioso de la abstinencia<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La <strong>Iglesia Cat\u00f3lica<\/strong> estableci\u00f3 la <strong>abstinencia de carne<\/strong> como un acto de <strong>sacrificio y penitencia<\/strong>, especialmente durante la <strong>Cuaresma<\/strong> y el <strong>Viernes Santo<\/strong>, d\u00eda en que se conmemora la <strong>muerte de Jesucristo<\/strong>. La carne roja, asociada con <strong>celebraci\u00f3n y abundancia<\/strong>, fue excluida como s\u00edmbolo de <strong>humildad y reflexi\u00f3n espiritual<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u00abNo comer carne en Viernes Santo es un gesto de respeto y duelo por el sacrificio de Cristo. Es un d\u00eda para reflexionar sobre el amor y el sufrimiento\u00bb<\/em>, explican los l\u00edderes religiosos.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>El pescado: Un alimento permitido con significado<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Aunque la carne est\u00e1 prohibida, el <strong>pescado<\/strong> es <strong>aceptado<\/strong> como alternativa.
