10 de abril de 2026<\/strong> \u2014 El Instituto Dominicano de Meteorolog\u00eda (Indomet)<\/strong> y el Centro de Operaciones de Emergencias (COE)<\/strong> han emitido una alerta<\/strong> por seis d\u00edas de lluvias intensas<\/strong> que afectar\u00e1n al pa\u00eds a partir de este fin de semana. Las precipitaciones, que se extender\u00e1n hasta mediados de la pr\u00f3xima semana, aumentan el riesgo de inundaciones y deslizamientos<\/strong>, especialmente en \u00e1reas donde los suelos ya est\u00e1n saturados por las lluvias recientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An\u00e1lisis y coordinaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

La directora de Indomet, Gloria Ceballos<\/strong>, se reuni\u00f3 con su equipo para evaluar el impacto potencial<\/strong> de las lluvias y coordinar acciones con el COE. \u00abLas condiciones actuales del suelo y los pron\u00f3sticos de lluvia requieren una respuesta inmediata\u00bb<\/em>, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Ceballos, recordando que el Gran Santo Domingo<\/strong> y otras regiones ya han experimentado inundaciones y da\u00f1os<\/strong> en d\u00edas pasados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acciones del COE<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

El COE convoc\u00f3 a una rueda de prensa<\/strong> para anunciar medidas de prevenci\u00f3n, que incluyen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Refuerzo de alertas<\/strong> en zonas de alto riesgo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Coordinaci\u00f3n con defensas civiles<\/strong> para evacuaciones preventivas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Monitoreo 24\/7<\/strong> de \u00e1reas cr\u00edticas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Recomendaciones a la ciudadan\u00eda<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Las autoridades pidieron a la poblaci\u00f3n<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Evitar zonas inundables<\/strong> y r\u00edos crecidos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Seguir las indicaciones<\/strong> de los organismos de emergencia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Tener a mano<\/strong> un kit de emergencia con suministros b\u00e1sicos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      El COE aumenta 03 provincias en alerta amarilla y 12 y el Distrito Nacional en verde, debido a que el informe del INDOMET, establece que contin\u00faan produci\u00e9ndose lluvias de diferentes intensidades, producto de la incidencia de una vaguada en diferentes niveles de la trop\u00f3sfera y los efectos del viento del este\/sureste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
