En la edici\u00f3n 2026, los estudiantes dominicanos se alzaron con el Industry STEM Engagement Award, el Social Media Award y, por cuarta vez, el Team Spirit Award, consolidando su reputaci\u00f3n como uno de los equipos m\u00e1s destacados de la competencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Un rover revolucionario<\/strong><br>En esta ocasi\u00f3n, Apolo 27 present\u00f3 un rover de solo 126 libras, el m\u00e1s liviano y eficiente de su historia, que les permiti\u00f3 superar los desaf\u00edos de movilidad y recolecci\u00f3n de muestras en los terrenos simulados de la Luna y Marte en tiempos r\u00e9cord. Este logro es el resultado del trabajo de 28 j\u00f3venes talentosos, provenientes de diferentes regiones del pa\u00eds, quienes demostraron que la ingenier\u00eda dominicana est\u00e1 a la altura de los mejores del mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Formaci\u00f3n STEM y liderazgo<\/strong><br>Dirigidos por los profesores Ezequiel D\u00edaz e Irvin Cede\u00f1o, los estudiantes de Apolo 27 han llevado la metodolog\u00eda STEM a nuevos niveles, combinando excelencia t\u00e9cnica con un fuerte impacto comunitario. Su \u00e9xito no solo se refleja en los premios, sino en su capacidad para inspirar a futuras generaciones a trav\u00e9s de programas educativos y su ejemplo de innovaci\u00f3n y trabajo en equipo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Organizaci\u00f3n y talento<\/strong><br>El equipo est\u00e1 organizado en \u00e1reas estrat\u00e9gicas como Liderazgo, Manufactura, Financiamiento, Educaci\u00f3n STEM y Comunicaci\u00f3n, con figuras clave como Marianny Mercedes (capitana), Arturo M\u00e9ndez (manufactura) y Allison P\u00e9rez (educaci\u00f3n STEM). Adem\u00e1s, cuentan con el apoyo de mentores y aliados que aseguran su operaci\u00f3n eficiente y su crecimiento continuo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Respaldo clave para el \u00e9xito<\/strong><br>Este logro ha sido posible gracias al apoyo de instituciones como la Presidencia de la Rep\u00fablica, el Ministerio de la Juventud y empresas como BMCargo, Banreservas, ASOBAL y Galicia Welding Group, que han cre\u00eddo en el potencial de estos j\u00f3venes y han aportado los recursos necesarios para su desarrollo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Un ejemplo de perseverancia y excelencia<\/strong><br>Desde su primera participaci\u00f3n en 2019, Apolo 27 ha acumulado experiencia y premios, convirti\u00e9ndose en el equipo dominicano m\u00e1s premiado en esta competencia internacional.
