El encuentro, calificado como un <strong>\u00abhito pol\u00edtico\u00bb<\/strong>, marca un <strong>punto de inflexi\u00f3n<\/strong> en la relaci\u00f3n entre la di\u00e1spora dominicana y el partido, especialmente en un contexto donde el voto conservador entre los dominicanos ha experimentado un <strong>crecimiento notable<\/strong> en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Un encuentro con visi\u00f3n de futuro<\/strong><br>La delegaci\u00f3n, liderada por <strong>Sammy Ravelo<\/strong>, presidente del <strong>Dominican American Republican Club<\/strong>, fue recibida por el c\u00f3nsul general <strong>Jes\u00fas V\u00e1squez<\/strong> en la sede diplom\u00e1tica. Ravelo destac\u00f3 que el objetivo principal de la visita es <strong>\u00abtender puentes\u00bb<\/strong> entre los valores conservadores del Partido Republicano y la comunidad dominicana en Nueva York, que supera los <strong>600,000 residentes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u00abEs hora de que, cogidos de la mano con nuestras autoridades, podamos comprender y diseminar los principios y valores culturales republicanos mediante alianzas comunitarias\u00bb<\/em>, declar\u00f3 Ravelo, quien ha sido una figura clave en el <strong>aumento del apoyo dominicano al Partido Republicano<\/strong>, especialmente desde la era de <strong>Donald Trump<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>El legado de Trump y el ascenso del voto conservador dominicano<\/strong><br>Los dirigentes coincidieron en que la presencia de dominicanos en el Partido Republicano ha experimentado un <strong>\u00abascenso relevante\u00bb<\/strong> desde la llegada de Trump a la Casa Blanca en 2016. <em>\u00abMuchos dominicanos encontraron en las pol\u00edticas de Trump un reflejo de sus valores familiares, religiosos y econ\u00f3micos\u00bb<\/em>, explic\u00f3 el <strong>doctor Miguel Estrella<\/strong>, l\u00edder del Distrito 70 en <strong>Hamilton Heights, Harlem<\/strong>, quien tambi\u00e9n resalt\u00f3 la visita como un <strong>reconocimiento a la labor del c\u00f3nsul V\u00e1squez<\/strong>. <em>\u00abQueremos felicitarlo por la encomiable labor que ha venido realizando a favor de nuestra comunidad\u00bb<\/em>, a\u00f1adi\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Los rostros del nuevo activismo republicano dominicano<\/strong><br>La comisi\u00f3n reflej\u00f3 la <strong>diversidad y fuerza<\/strong> del liderazgo dominicano dentro del Partido Republicano en Nueva York.
