Nacida en Nueva Jersey en una familia inmigrante, ha dedicado su carrera a la defensa de trabajadores, inmigrantes y comunidades de bajos ingresos. Su trayectoria est\u00e1 marcada por el activismo de base y el liderazgo en organizaciones enfocadas en justicia econ\u00f3mica, derechos laborales y equidad social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A lo largo de los a\u00f1os, ha participado en campa\u00f1as pol\u00edticas a nivel estatal y nacional, consolid\u00e1ndose como una voz influyente dentro del ala progresista del Partido Dem\u00f3crata. Su enfoque combina movilizaci\u00f3n comunitaria con propuestas de reformas estructurales, lo que le ha permitido conectar con amplios sectores del electorado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Su victoria se produce en un momento pol\u00edtico sensible, donde cada esca\u00f1o influye en el equilibrio de poder en la C\u00e1mara de Representantes.
