Este joven dominicano, quien <strong>ingres\u00f3 ilegalmente a EE.UU. por Lukeville, Arizona, en 2022<\/strong>, se encuentra ahora en el centro de una <strong>pol\u00e9mica<\/strong> que involucra a <strong>autoridades migratorias, judiciales y diplom\u00e1ticas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La orden de arresto en Rep\u00fablica Dominicana<\/strong><br>Seg\u00fan informes del <strong>Departamento de Seguridad Nacional de EE.UU. (DHS)<\/strong>, el <strong>24 de enero de 2023<\/strong>, un <strong>Tribunal de Instrucci\u00f3n del Distrito Nacional de Santo Domingo<\/strong> emiti\u00f3 una <strong>orden de arresto<\/strong> en contra de Bryan Rafael G\u00f3mez por <strong>homicidio<\/strong>. Esta orden lo convierte en un <strong>fugitivo de la justicia dominicana<\/strong>, con un <strong>proceso penal pendiente<\/strong> en su pa\u00eds de origen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Detenci\u00f3n y liberaci\u00f3n en EE.UU.: Una cadena de fallos<\/strong><br>El <strong>4 de abril de 2026<\/strong>, el <strong>Departamento de Polic\u00eda de Worcester (Massachusetts)<\/strong> arrest\u00f3 a G\u00f3mez por <strong>cargos de abuso dom\u00e9stico<\/strong>. Tras pagar una <strong>fianza de 500 d\u00f3lares<\/strong>, qued\u00f3 en libertad el mismo d\u00eda. Sin embargo, <strong>el Servicio de Inmigraci\u00f3n y Control de Aduanas (ICE)<\/strong> lo arrest\u00f3 nuevamente para <strong>iniciar su proceso de deportaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, dado su <strong>estatus migratorio irregular<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El <strong>28 de abril de 2026<\/strong>, G\u00f3mez fue presentado ante la <strong>jueza del Tribunal de Distrito de Rhode Island, Melissa R. DuBose<\/strong>, quien, tras una <strong>petici\u00f3n de h\u00e1beas corpus<\/strong>, <strong>orden\u00f3 su liberaci\u00f3n<\/strong>. Esta decisi\u00f3n <strong>desat\u00f3 una ola de cr\u00edticas<\/strong> por parte del DHS, que acus\u00f3 a la jueza de <strong>actuar como \u00abactivista\u00bb del expresidente Joe Biden<\/strong> y de <strong>liberar a un \u00abviolento criminal\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En un <strong>comunicado emitido el 30 de abril de 2026<\/strong>, la <strong>subsecretaria interina del DHS, Lauren Bis<\/strong>, declar\u00f3:<br><em>\u00abUn juez activista designado por Joe Biden liber\u00f3 a este asesino buscado, devolvi\u00e9ndolo a las comunidades estadounidenses. Este es otro ejemplo de un juez activista que intenta frustrar el mandato del presidente Trump, otorgado por el pueblo estadounidense, de expulsar a los inmigrantes ilegales con antecedentes penales de nuestras comunidades. Bajo la presidencia de Trump y la secretar\u00eda Mullin, el DHS continuar\u00e1 luchando por la expulsi\u00f3n de los inmigrantes ilegales con antecedentes penales que no tienen derecho a estar en nuestro pa\u00eds\u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La respuesta del Departamento de Justicia<\/strong><br>Ante las <strong>acusaciones del DHS<\/strong>, el <strong>Departamento de Justicia del Distrito de Rhode Island<\/strong> emiti\u00f3 un <strong>comunicado de aclaraci\u00f3n el 1 de mayo de 2026<\/strong>, en el que se especificaba que:<br><em>\u00abLa jueza DuBose no ten\u00eda conocimiento, en el momento de su fallo, de que G\u00f3mez era buscado por las autoridades de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana\u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este <strong>error de comunicaci\u00f3n<\/strong> entre las autoridades migratorias y judiciales <strong>evidenci\u00f3 un fallo en el sistema<\/strong>, que permiti\u00f3 que un <strong>fugitivo internacional<\/strong> quedara en libertad sin que se verificara su <strong>estatus penal en su pa\u00eds de origen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nuevas \u00f3rdenes y la b\u00fasqueda activa del ICE<\/strong><br>Tras el <strong>esc\u00e1ndalo medi\u00e1tico<\/strong>, la jueza DuBose <strong>revoc\u00f3 su decisi\u00f3n<\/strong> y dictamin\u00f3 que G\u00f3mez <strong>debe ser detenido nuevamente por el ICE<\/strong>. Sin embargo, el <strong>abogado de G\u00f3mez<\/strong> anunci\u00f3 durante la semana que su cliente <strong>se entregar\u00eda voluntariamente<\/strong> en la <strong>Oficina de Campo del ICE en Boston<\/strong>.
