Este <strong>convenio interinstitucional<\/strong>, suscrito por el <strong>presidente del Consejo Directivo de Indotel, Guido G\u00f3mez Mazara<\/strong>, y el <strong>ministro de Defensa, teniente general Carlos Fern\u00e1ndez Onofre<\/strong>, busca <strong>garantizar la soberan\u00eda nacional<\/strong> y la <strong>protecci\u00f3n de las comunicaciones cr\u00edticas<\/strong> en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El acuerdo establece <strong>mecanismos de cooperaci\u00f3n<\/strong> en <strong>infraestructuras, monitoreo, ciberdefensa y gesti\u00f3n de frecuencias<\/strong>, con el objetivo de <strong>mejorar la capacidad de respuesta ante amenazas tecnol\u00f3gicas<\/strong> y <strong>prevenir interferencias perjudiciales<\/strong> en las comunicaciones. Adem\u00e1s, incluye acciones para <strong>apoyar la transformaci\u00f3n digital<\/strong> y la <strong>educaci\u00f3n virtual<\/strong> en instituciones acad\u00e9micas del sistema de defensa, como la <strong>Universidad Nacional para la Defensa \u00abGeneral Juan Pablo Duarte y D\u00edez\u00bb<\/strong> y la <strong>Escuela de Graduados de Doctrina Conjunta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Guido G\u00f3mez Mazara<\/strong> resalt\u00f3 que esta <strong>alianza estrat\u00e9gica<\/strong> es un <strong>avance fundamental<\/strong> para <strong>fortalecer la soberan\u00eda nacional, la ciberseguridad y la protecci\u00f3n del espectro radioel\u00e9ctrico<\/strong>. \u00abCon esta alianza entre el Ministerio de Defensa e Indotel <strong>estamos impulsando que Rep\u00fablica Dominicana tenga fronteras seguras y Fuerzas Armadas capacitadas<\/strong>, con las herramientas tecnol\u00f3gicas necesarias para enfrentar los desaf\u00edos actuales\u00bb, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El <strong>ministro Fern\u00e1ndez Onofre<\/strong> destac\u00f3 la <strong>importancia estrat\u00e9gica<\/strong> del convenio, que busca <strong>fortalecer la seguridad nacional, la protecci\u00f3n del espectro radioel\u00e9ctrico y las capacidades tecnol\u00f3gicas del pa\u00eds<\/strong> frente a los <strong>nuevos desaf\u00edos geopol\u00edticos y de defensa<\/strong>. \u00abHoy estamos robusteciendo nuestras alianzas, donde el Indotel y las Fuerzas Armadas <strong>trabajar\u00e1n en conjunto para fortalecer nuestras capacidades de seguridad, el espectro radioel\u00e9ctrico y nuestras instalaciones<\/strong>, en beneficio de la naci\u00f3n\u00bb, enfatiz\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como parte del acuerdo, <strong>Indotel y el MIDE podr\u00e1n compartir el uso de infraestructuras pasivas y edificaciones<\/strong> para <strong>ampliar la cobertura de sus sistemas de telecomunicaciones, monitoreo, vigilancia y seguridad<\/strong>. Adem\u00e1s, se <strong>crear\u00e1 una unidad t\u00e9cnica estrat\u00e9gica de telecomunicaciones y ciberdefensa<\/strong> para <strong>planificar, ejecutar y dar seguimiento<\/strong> a las acciones derivadas de esta colaboraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El convenio tambi\u00e9n incluye la <strong>creaci\u00f3n de un Centro Binacional de Monitoreo Fronterizo<\/strong> para <strong>detectar interferencias il\u00edcitas, monitorear drones y coordinar respuestas ante amenazas regionales<\/strong>.
