La nueva c\u00e9dula de identidad y electoral de Rep\u00fablica Dominicana<\/strong> ha sido reconocida como el Mejor Documento de Identidad 2026<\/strong> en el Foro High Security Printing Latin America 2026<\/strong>, un evento que re\u00fane a los m\u00e1ximos expertos en seguridad documental e identidad gubernamental<\/strong> de la regi\u00f3n. Este premio, otorgado por Reconnaissance International<\/strong>, es un testimonio del avance tecnol\u00f3gico y la excelencia operativa<\/strong> logrados por la Junta Central Electoral (JCE)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Consorcio Emdoc: Una Alianza de Excelencia<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

El desarrollo de la c\u00e9dula fue posible gracias al Consorcio Emdoc<\/strong>, un grupo de cinco empresas especializadas<\/strong> que superaron los requisitos t\u00e9cnicos y operativos<\/strong> de la JCE:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    IQtek Solutions<\/strong> ha sido clave<\/strong> en el proyecto, aportando su experiencia en tecnolog\u00eda de identidad<\/strong> y su capacidad para articular soluciones innovadoras<\/strong> con los requerimientos de la JCE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Una C\u00e9dula con Tecnolog\u00eda de Vanguardia<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    La nueva c\u00e9dula dominicana incorpora:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • M\u00e1s de 100 caracter\u00edsticas de seguridad<\/strong> en tres niveles<\/strong> (visual, encubierto y forense).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Material de policarbonato<\/strong>, con una durabilidad de 25 a\u00f1os<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Fotograf\u00eda l\u00e1ser en escala de grises<\/strong>, imposible de alterar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Chip sin contacto<\/strong> para verificaci\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica bajo est\u00e1ndares OACI<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • C\u00f3digo de Acceso a la Tarjeta (CAN)<\/strong> y Zona de Lectura Mec\u00e1nica (MRZ)<\/strong>, que permiten su uso como documento de viaje<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      De Cart\u00f3n a Policarbonato: Una Transformaci\u00f3n Radical<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Hace 30 a\u00f1os<\/strong>, la c\u00e9dula dominicana se fabricaba en cart\u00f3n<\/strong>. Hoy, el pa\u00eds cuenta con un documento de identidad de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, que no solo cumple con los m\u00e1s altos est\u00e1ndares internacionales<\/strong>, sino que tambi\u00e9n supera a los de otros pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Un Proceso Operativo \u00danico<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      La JCE es la \u00fanica instituci\u00f3n en el mundo<\/strong> que realiza un proceso de renovaci\u00f3n de identidad simult\u00e1neo<\/strong> en territorio nacional y en el exterior<\/strong>, llegando a dominicanos en 35 pa\u00edses<\/strong>. Este logro demuestra la capacidad del pa\u00eds para ejecutar operaciones de gran escala con tecnolog\u00eda de punta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
