Las actividades se llevar\u00e1n a cabo en la <strong>regi\u00f3n de Kyushu<\/strong>, en el suroeste de Jap\u00f3n, y en la <strong>prefectura de Okinawa<\/strong>, seg\u00fan informaciones del medio <strong>Nikkei<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uno de los aspectos m\u00e1s relevantes de este ejercicio es el <strong>despliegue por primera vez<\/strong> de <strong>aeronaves de transporte V-22 Osprey<\/strong> con base en <strong>Camp Saga<\/strong>. El objetivo es entrenar el <strong>traslado de heridos<\/strong> desde la isla de Miyako hasta la <strong>Estaci\u00f3n A\u00e9rea del Cuerpo de Marines de EE.UU. en Futenma<\/strong>, ubicada en la isla principal de Okinawa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durante la <strong>ceremonia de apertura<\/strong> en <strong>Camp Kengun<\/strong>, en la prefectura de Kumamoto, el <strong>teniente general Seiji Toriumi<\/strong>, comandante del <strong>Ej\u00e9rcito Occidental de Jap\u00f3n<\/strong>, destac\u00f3 la importancia de estos ejercicios: <em>\u00abDemostrar capacidades de defensa es muy importante para la paz y la estabilidad en la regi\u00f3n del Indo-Pac\u00edfico\u00bb<\/em>.
