Seg\u00fan la <strong>Fiscal\u00eda General de Nueva Jersey<\/strong>, Alite, de <strong>63 a\u00f1os<\/strong>, habr\u00eda exigido pagos con <strong>intereses abusivos<\/strong> y amenazado con violencia a quienes no cumplieran. Adem\u00e1s, habr\u00eda utilizado su empresa, <strong>Straightened-Out Entertainment, Inc.<\/strong>, para ocultar estas actividades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u00abEstas detenciones son el resultado de una rigurosa investigaci\u00f3n y colaboraci\u00f3n entre agencias\u00bb<\/em>, declar\u00f3 la fiscal <strong>Jennifer Davenport<\/strong>, quien subray\u00f3 que las autoridades <strong>no tolerar\u00e1n negocios fraudulentos o ilegales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alite, de <strong>origen alban\u00e9s y criado en Queens<\/strong>, fue durante d\u00e9cadas una <strong>figura clave en la familia Gambino<\/strong>, cercana al <strong>mafioso John Gotti<\/strong>. En una <strong>entrevista en 2015<\/strong>, admiti\u00f3 haber cometido <strong>15 asesinatos<\/strong>, disparado contra <strong>30 a 40 personas<\/strong> y agredido a m\u00e1s de <strong>100 con objetos contundentes<\/strong>. Tras cumplir <strong>14 a\u00f1os de prisi\u00f3n<\/strong> en EE.UU. y Brasil, asegur\u00f3 haber <strong>abandonado el crimen<\/strong> y se dedic\u00f3 a <strong>compartir su historia<\/strong> a trav\u00e9s de su p\u00f3dcast <em>\u00abCatch Me On The Run\u00bb<\/em>, documentales y charlas sobre las consecuencias de la vida criminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En <strong>mayo de 2025<\/strong>, fue nombrado <strong>concejal de Englishtown<\/strong> por el alcalde <strong>Daniel Francisco<\/strong>, con el objetivo de <strong>ayudar a su comunidad<\/strong>, especialmente tras la <strong>muerte de su hija por sobredosis de fentanilo<\/strong>. <em>\u00abYa no soy un criminal.
