{"id":112509,"date":"2026-07-17T13:58:18","date_gmt":"2026-07-17T17:58:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/romanticany.com\/?p=112509"},"modified":"2026-07-17T13:58:22","modified_gmt":"2026-07-17T17:58:22","slug":"inmigrante-taxista-murio-arrollado-por-conductor-hispano-en-un-camion-acusacion-en-ny","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/romanticany.com\/?p=112509","title":{"rendered":"Inmigrante taxista muri\u00f3 arrollado por conductor hispano en un cami\u00f3n: acusaci\u00f3n en NY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un <strong>doloroso incidente<\/strong> en Nueva York ha <strong>sacudido a la comunidad inmigrante<\/strong> tras la <strong>muerte de un taxista paquistan\u00ed<\/strong> que fue <strong>arrollado por un cami\u00f3n<\/strong> cuyo conductor <strong>huy\u00f3 del lugar<\/strong>. <strong>Nasir Nadim<\/strong>, un <strong>inmigrante paquistan\u00ed de 59 a\u00f1os<\/strong>, perdi\u00f3 la vida tras ser <strong>atropellado por Randy Pimentel<\/strong>, un hombre de <strong>23 a\u00f1os y residente del Bronx<\/strong>, quien fue <strong>detenido este mi\u00e9rcoles<\/strong> bajo cargos de <strong>homicidio y otros delitos<\/strong>, seis meses despu\u00e9s del <strong>fatal accidente<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El <strong>23 de enero de 2026<\/strong>, Pimentel <strong>conduc\u00eda un cami\u00f3n de carga tipo furg\u00f3n<\/strong> cuando, seg\u00fan las <strong>autoridades<\/strong>, <strong>roz\u00f3 y luego arrastr\u00f3 a Nadim<\/strong> a lo largo de <strong>casi siete manzanas<\/strong>. Tras caer la v\u00edctima a la calzada, <strong>Pimentel volvi\u00f3 a atropellarlo<\/strong>. Nadim, quien <strong>regresaba a su casa tras orar en la mezquita Dawood<\/strong>, caminaba cerca de las calles <strong>Clinton y State, en Brooklyn Heights<\/strong>, cuando fue <strong>embestido por un cami\u00f3n Freightliner modelo 2019<\/strong> poco antes de la <strong>1:00 p.m.<\/strong>, seg\u00fan el <em>Daily News<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un <strong>amigo de Nadim<\/strong> declar\u00f3 a <em>Urdu News<\/em> que la v\u00edctima <strong>corri\u00f3 detr\u00e1s del cami\u00f3n para pedirle los datos de su seguro<\/strong> tras el choque inicial. <strong>Nadim se aferr\u00f3 al veh\u00edculo<\/strong> mientras Pimentel <strong>continuaba avanzando<\/strong> por la calle Clinton durante unos <strong>600 pies (180 metros)<\/strong> hasta llegar a <strong>Cadman Plaza<\/strong>, donde <strong>Nadim cay\u00f3 y fue atropellado nuevamente<\/strong>. El mes pasado, <strong>Diana Rol\u00f3n muri\u00f3<\/strong> tras ser <strong>atropellada por un conductor que se dio a la fuga<\/strong> en Staten Island, dejando a la v\u00edctima con <strong>da\u00f1o cerebral irreversible<\/strong>. En otro incidente similar, <strong>dos amigas ecuatorianas de 58 y 61 a\u00f1os perdieron la vida<\/strong> en Newark, Nueva Jersey, tras ser <strong>arrolladas por un conductor que huy\u00f3<\/strong> y d\u00edas despu\u00e9s <strong>se entreg\u00f3 a las autoridades<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las <strong>autoridades neoyorquinas<\/strong> han <strong>reafirmado su postura de cero tolerancia<\/strong> hacia conductores que <strong>manejan a exceso de velocidad o bajo los efectos del alcohol o drogas<\/strong>.
