Rodr\u00edguez hab\u00eda sido <strong>detenida el 10 de julio<\/strong> en un operativo de ICE en <strong>Guaynabo, Puerto Rico<\/strong>, y fue <strong>recibida por sus seres queridos<\/strong> al salir del centro de detenci\u00f3n. <em>\u00abMe siento agradecida con Dios porque nunca me solt\u00f3, con mi equipo de abogados, mis cu\u00f1adas, mi esposo; adentro tambi\u00e9n me trataron bien. Todo en la vida es para uno aprender\u00bb<\/em>, declar\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La intervenci\u00f3n de la justicia federal<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La <strong>Uni\u00f3n Americana de Libertades Civiles (ACLU)<\/strong> hab\u00eda informado que la jueza <strong>orden\u00f3 una vista de fianza para Rodr\u00edguez en o antes del 21 de julio<\/strong>. La orden judicial <strong>estipulaba<\/strong> que, si no se celebraba la audiencia conforme a la <strong>Secci\u00f3n 1226(a)<\/strong>, Rodr\u00edguez <strong>deb\u00eda ser liberada de inmediato<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El <strong>abogado Ferm\u00edn Arraiza Navas<\/strong>, director legal de la <strong>ACLU en Puerto Rico<\/strong>, <strong>denunci\u00f3<\/strong> que el <strong>juez de inmigraci\u00f3n Elvin Talavera Peraza<\/strong> se neg\u00f3 a <strong>verificar que Rodr\u00edguez ten\u00eda una petici\u00f3n familiar I-130 y una exenci\u00f3n provisional I-601A aprobadas<\/strong>, documentos que <strong>demuestran que su detenci\u00f3n era ilegal<\/strong>. <em>\u00abLa orden representa una intervenci\u00f3n necesaria para proteger el debido proceso de Inocencia y de todas las personas frente a pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas discriminatorias\u00bb<\/em>, afirm\u00f3 Arraiza Navas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La <strong>jueza Antongiorgi Jord\u00e1n<\/strong> ya hab\u00eda <strong>detenido el traslado de Rodr\u00edguez fuera de Puerto Rico<\/strong> y <strong>advertido sobre la posible ilegalidad de su arresto<\/strong>. <em>\u00abCuando el gobierno detiene ilegalmente a una persona y los mecanismos ordinarios fallan, los tribunales federales tienen el deber de intervenir\u00bb<\/em>, subray\u00f3 <strong>Anette Mart\u00ednez Orabona<\/strong>, directora ejecutiva de la ACLU en Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>El caso de Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rodr\u00edguez fue <strong>detenida el 10 de julio<\/strong> en un punto de control de ICE en Guaynabo <strong>mientras conduc\u00eda su veh\u00edculo<\/strong>.
