La operaci\u00f3n, que incluy\u00f3 una <strong>persecuci\u00f3n por aire, mar y tierra<\/strong>, permiti\u00f3 <strong>desarticular una red de narcotr\u00e1fico<\/strong> que operaba en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>El modus operandi de los narcotraficantes<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seg\u00fan <strong>Carlos Devers<\/strong>, vocero de la DNCD, la red utilizaba <strong>lanchas r\u00e1pidas<\/strong> para <strong>introducir sustancias il\u00edcitas desde Sudam\u00e9rica<\/strong> hacia las costas dominicanas. Este <strong>m\u00e9todo de transporte mar\u00edtimo<\/strong> es una de las <strong>principales rutas<\/strong> utilizadas por los carteles para <strong>mover grandes cargamentos de drogas<\/strong> hacia el Caribe y, posteriormente, hacia otros mercados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La persecuci\u00f3n y el arresto<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las autoridades <strong>detectaron a varios hombres<\/strong> en aguas del <strong>mar Caribe<\/strong> transportando un <strong>cargamento sospechoso<\/strong>. Tras una <strong>persecuci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 15 horas<\/strong>, unidades <strong>a\u00e9reas, mar\u00edtimas y terrestres<\/strong> lograron <strong>interceptar una lancha tipo \u00abEduardo\u00f1o\u00bb<\/strong> de <strong>32 pies de eslora<\/strong>, a varias millas n\u00e1uticas al sur de <strong>Punta Salinas<\/strong>. La embarcaci\u00f3n, que <strong>no ten\u00eda nombre ni matr\u00edcula<\/strong>, estaba equipada con <strong>dos motores fuera de borda de 250 caballos de fuerza cada uno<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al abordar la lancha, se <strong>arrest\u00f3 a los tres dominicanos<\/strong> (Luis Enr\u00edquez D\u00edaz S\u00e1nchez, Michael Antonio Herrera Guerrero y V\u00edctor Alfonso Morel D\u00edaz) y se <strong>decomisaron 55 pacas<\/strong> con <strong>1,360 paquetes de presunta coca\u00edna<\/strong>, adem\u00e1s de <strong>30 bloques de una sustancia vegetal que aparenta ser marihuana<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Evidencias y proceso legal<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entre las <strong>evidencias incautadas<\/strong> se encontraron una <strong>radio de comunicaci\u00f3n satelital, 12 tanques y un garraf\u00f3n para combustible, lonas, sogas, agua, bebidas energizantes y comestibles<\/strong>. Los detenidos ser\u00e1n <strong>remitidos al Ministerio P\u00fablico<\/strong> para que se les <strong>aplique medida de coerci\u00f3n<\/strong> por <strong>violaci\u00f3n a la Ley 50-88 sobre Drogas y Sustancias Controladas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rep\u00fablica Dominicana: L\u00edder en la lucha contra el narcotr\u00e1fico<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carlos Devers destac\u00f3 que, <strong>en lo que va de 2026<\/strong>, Rep\u00fablica Dominicana ha <strong>incautado m\u00e1s de 27 toneladas de drogas<\/strong> en operaciones realizadas en <strong>aeropuertos, puertos, fronteras y costas<\/strong>, lo que consolida su <strong>liderazgo en la regi\u00f3n<\/strong> en la <strong>lucha contra el narcotr\u00e1fico<\/strong>.
