El ataque, ocurrido en la <strong>madrugada del lunes<\/strong>, dej\u00f3 <strong>al menos 20 cad\u00e1veres<\/strong> confirmados por <strong>EFE<\/strong>, aunque <strong>medios locales reportan hasta 40 muertos<\/strong>, entre ellos <strong>mujeres, ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La <strong>Oficina de Protecci\u00f3n del Ciudadano (OPC)<\/strong> expres\u00f3 su <strong>\u00abprofunda consternaci\u00f3n\u00bb<\/strong> y <strong>conden\u00f3 con firmeza<\/strong> los hechos, instando al <strong>Consejo Superior de la Polic\u00eda Nacional (CSPN)<\/strong> y a las autoridades a <strong>adoptar medidas urgentes<\/strong> para <strong>restablecer la seguridad en Kenscoff<\/strong>, <strong>proteger a la poblaci\u00f3n<\/strong> y <strong>esclarecer los cr\u00edmenes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seg\u00fan informes, las <strong>bandas atacaron a personas desplazadas<\/strong> que se hab\u00edan refugiado en una <strong>iglesia<\/strong> y <strong>incendiaron decenas de viviendas<\/strong>. La violencia <strong>desat\u00f3 protestas<\/strong> este lunes, cuando <strong>cientos de habitantes<\/strong> se concentraron frente al <strong>comisariado de Kenscoff<\/strong> para <strong>denunciar la inseguridad<\/strong> y <strong>exigir acci\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El <strong>director de la Polic\u00eda Nacional de Hait\u00ed (PNH), Jonas Andr\u00e9 Vladimir Paraison<\/strong>, y el <strong>comisario Fritz Patterson Dorval<\/strong> se desplazaron a la zona tras el ataque.
