El fuego, que se inici\u00f3 alrededor de la <strong>1:20 a. m. y se prolong\u00f3 hasta las 2:00 a. m.<\/strong>, afect\u00f3 no solo al <strong>condominio<\/strong>, sino tambi\u00e9n a <strong>varios locales comerciales<\/strong> de la zona, que perdieron <strong>todo su inventario y mobiliario<\/strong>. Adem\u00e1s, los <strong>ajuares de las familias residentes<\/strong> resultaron gravemente da\u00f1ados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Desesperaci\u00f3n y p\u00e9rdida total<\/strong> Wilfredo Caraballo, residente del edificio, describi\u00f3 la situaci\u00f3n como un <strong>\u00abdesorden total\u00bb<\/strong> y pidi\u00f3 ayuda: <em>\u00abNecesitamos que alguien venga a ayudarnos, si es posible, el gobierno o una instituci\u00f3n p\u00fablica, porque aqu\u00ed se quem\u00f3 todo\u00bb<\/em>. Caraballo, quien viv\u00eda en el <strong>tercer piso<\/strong>, logr\u00f3 salvar algunas de sus pertenencias gracias a la <strong>pronta intervenci\u00f3n del Cuerpo de Bomberos del Distrito Nacional<\/strong>. Sin embargo, otros vecinos quedaron <strong>\u00abcompletamente afectados\u00bb<\/strong>, perdiendo todo lo que ten\u00edan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El susto fue tan intenso que Caraballo requiri\u00f3 atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica: <em>\u00abA m\u00ed me dio un p\u00e1nico tan grande que el 911 tuvo que medirme la presi\u00f3n a eso de las 5:00 de la ma\u00f1ana. Yo estaba desesperado, con el coraz\u00f3n r\u00e1pido, pero mi presi\u00f3n estaba bien\u00bb<\/em>, cont\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Un edificio con falta de mantenimiento<\/strong> El <strong>Edificio Luis Franco<\/strong>, construido en <strong>1973<\/strong>, contaba con <strong>12 apartamentos y 8 locales comerciales<\/strong>. Dionny Guillermo L\u00f3pez, otro vecino, explic\u00f3 que en los <strong>32 a\u00f1os que ha vivido en el edificio<\/strong>, el \u00fanico mantenimiento que se le ha dado ha sido <strong>\u00aba nivel de pintura\u00bb<\/strong>.
