Este espacio de reflexi\u00f3n y di\u00e1logo busc\u00f3 fortalecer el <strong>acompa\u00f1amiento integral<\/strong> a ni\u00f1os, adolescentes y j\u00f3venes que han superado el c\u00e1ncer, destacando que <strong>la superaci\u00f3n de la enfermedad no es solo el final de un tratamiento m\u00e9dico, sino el inicio de una nueva etapa que requiere apoyo continuo y multidimensional<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El evento, organizado a trav\u00e9s del <strong>Viceministerio de Bienestar y Longevidad Saludable<\/strong>, propuso la creaci\u00f3n de una <strong>Red Nacional de J\u00f3venes Voluntarios por la Salud y el Bienestar<\/strong>, en alianza con la OPS y grupos sociales de j\u00f3venes. Esta red tendr\u00e1 como objetivo ser un <strong>espacio de participaci\u00f3n, formaci\u00f3n y movilizaci\u00f3n juvenil<\/strong> para promover informaci\u00f3n confiable y desarrollar acciones comunitarias de prevenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La <strong>primera dama de la Rep\u00fablica, Raquel Arbaje<\/strong>, destac\u00f3 los <strong>avances en tratamientos y atenci\u00f3n especializada<\/strong> para el c\u00e1ncer infantil, as\u00ed como la importancia de <strong>unir voluntades<\/strong> para seguir fortaleciendo la respuesta frente a esta enfermedad. <em>\u00abEl fin es unirnos en una sola causa. La detecci\u00f3n temprana, la cual se ha hecho a trav\u00e9s de todos los que estamos aqu\u00ed, representando bastante, y todav\u00eda nos falta. Cuando detectamos a tiempo, la probabilidad de sanaci\u00f3n es mucho m\u00e1s alta\u00bb<\/em>, expres\u00f3 Arbaje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El <strong>ministro de Salud, V\u00edctor Atallah<\/strong>, enfatiz\u00f3 que la atenci\u00f3n del c\u00e1ncer infantil debe ir m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del tratamiento m\u00e9dico y contemplar la <strong>reintegraci\u00f3n del ni\u00f1o a su entorno familiar, escolar y social<\/strong>. <em>\u00abCuando hablamos de c\u00e1ncer infantil, no podemos centrarnos solamente en el diagn\u00f3stico. Es un concepto integral: el diagn\u00f3stico puede interrumpir la vida cotidiana, pero nuestro trabajo es garantizar que eso no implique que se interrumpa el futuro de nuestros ni\u00f1os\u00bb<\/em>, afirm\u00f3 Atallah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durante el encuentro, se resalt\u00f3 la importancia de <strong>articular esfuerzos entre los sectores de salud, educaci\u00f3n, protecci\u00f3n social, familia y comunidad<\/strong> para garantizar que los sobrevivientes de c\u00e1ncer infantil puedan desarrollar sus proyectos de vida en condiciones de <strong>inclusi\u00f3n, acompa\u00f1amiento y oportunidades<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Bernardino Vitoy<\/strong>, representante de la OPS\/OMS, destac\u00f3 la necesidad de colocar al <strong>paciente y su entorno familiar en el centro de la respuesta<\/strong> frente al c\u00e1ncer infantil. Adem\u00e1s, se abordaron los <strong>avances y desaf\u00edos<\/strong> en la ampliaci\u00f3n de la cobertura de medicamentos para los c\u00e1nceres infantiles priorizados y el trasplante, como parte de las acciones para fortalecer la respuesta del sistema de salud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La <strong>viceministra de Bienestar y Longevidad Saludable, Andelys de la Rosa<\/strong>, subray\u00f3 que el pa\u00eds cuenta con una <strong>estrategia articulada<\/strong> que involucra a instituciones, sociedades especializadas, organismos de cooperaci\u00f3n y actores del sistema de salud. <em>\u00abNo se trata solo de conseguir medicamentos o de lograr algo puntual, sino de que el sistema de salud lo asuma, lo entienda y pueda sostenerlo permanentemente en el tiempo\u00bb<\/em>, explic\u00f3 la viceministra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Como parte de la agenda, se desarroll\u00f3 la <strong>charla magistral \u00abGarantizando el bienestar despu\u00e9s del diagn\u00f3stico: recomendaciones integrales esenciales\u00bb<\/strong>, dictada por la doctora <strong>Wendy G\u00f3mez Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, encargada del Incart y coordinadora de Oncolog\u00eda del Hospital Pedi\u00e1trico Dr. Robert Reid Cabral. Adem\u00e1s, se llev\u00f3 a cabo el panel <strong>\u00ab\u00bfY despu\u00e9s qu\u00e9?
