NUEVA YORK. \u2014 La Sociedad Ecol\u00f3gica del Cibao (SOECI) inform\u00f3 este mi\u00e9rcoles mediante un comunicado oficial a la opini\u00f3n p\u00fablica, la conformaci\u00f3n de su nueva junta directiva, tras la celebraci\u00f3n realizada el domingo 27 de septiembre del presente a\u00f1o, mediant su Asamblea General Extraordinaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEste c\u00f3nclave institucional tuvo como prop\u00f3sito fundamental llevar a cabo la reestructuraci\u00f3n de la Junta Directiva de la entidad\u201d, se lee el documento oficial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan se explica, el proceso democr\u00e1tico y estatutario fue motivado por la renuncia formal del presidente saliente, Roberto Mart\u00ednez, a quien la organizaci\u00f3n agradece profundamente su entrega, liderazgo y valiosos aportes durante su gesti\u00f3n al frente de la sociedad ecologista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cConforme a lo establecido en los estatutos institucionales que rigen la vida jur\u00eddica y org\u00e1nica de la SOECI, y tras agotar el proceso correspondiente de elecci\u00f3n y consenso, la nueva conformaci\u00f3n de la
Junta Directiva ha quedado estructurada con todos sus miembros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estar\u00e1 presidida por Henry Abreu; mientras que la vicepresidencia recae sobre Ana Delia M\u00e9ndez; secretaria de Actas, Zaida Mej\u00eda; secretario de Educaci\u00f3n, Fernando G\u00f3mez; secretaria de Comunicaciones: Rosuel Abreu; secretario de Organizaci\u00f3n, Emilio Osoria; secretario de Finanzas, Juan Francisco; y la directora Ejecutiva ser\u00e1 la expresidenta, Belkis Ysidra Garc\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expresan adem\u00e1s que, \u201ceste equipo directivo asume con alto sentido de compromiso el reto de continuar consolidando la misi\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica de la SOECI\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSiempre promovemos una relaci\u00f3n arm\u00f3nica y sostenible entre el ser humano y la naturaleza, fortaleciendo la capacidad de movilizaci\u00f3n, opini\u00f3n y acci\u00f3n efectiva ante los grandes desaf\u00edos ambientales actuales que enfrenta la regi\u00f3n y la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SOECI reitera su firme disposici\u00f3n de continuar trabajando de manera conjunta y estrecha, fortaleciendo los lazos de colaboraci\u00f3n y hermandad con todas las instituciones gubernamentales, comunitarias, acad\u00e9micas y organizaciones sin fines de lucro aliadas, en pro del desarrollo sostenible y el cuidado de nuestra casa com\u00fan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
