Mayers explic\u00f3 que intent\u00f3 cruzar la frontera en diciembre de 2022 debido a la discriminaci\u00f3n del Estado ruso hacia los&nbsp;transexuales&nbsp;y las amenazas que recibi\u00f3 de sus antiguos colegas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discrimaci\u00f3n y acoso social y estatal&nbsp;en Rusia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A finales de julio el presidente de Rusia,&nbsp;<strong>Vlad\u00edmir Putin, firm\u00f3 la ley que proh\u00edbe el cambio de sexo tanto por medio de tratamiento m\u00e9dico como en los documentos de identidad<\/strong>, una decisi\u00f3n que el Parlamento consider\u00f3 como una medida para proteger de una \u201cdegeneraci\u00f3n\u201d a ni\u00f1os y adultos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tambi\u00e9n qued\u00f3 prohibida la adopci\u00f3n de ni\u00f1os a las personas que ya hayan cambiado de sexo. Tampoco podr\u00e1n ser sus tutores o fideicomisarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Asimismo, la legislaci\u00f3n establece la anulaci\u00f3n del matrimonio si uno de los c\u00f3nyuges se somete a una reasignaci\u00f3n de sexo.
