EL BRONX; NUEVA YORK. -El legislador de origen dominicano, George \u00c1lvarez (AD78) quien representa el distrito 78 ante la Asamblea Estatal de Nueva York, recibi\u00f3 en su despacho al alcalde del municipio de San Lorenzo de Guayubin, provincia Montecristi, Ram\u00f3n Francisco \u201c Samuel\u201d Toribio, con quien intercambi\u00f3 ideas sobre las demarcaciones que representan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c1lvarez aprovech\u00f3 la ocasi\u00f3n para hacer entrega de un reconocimiento al honorable alcalde Toribio por sus contribuciones y aportes en favor de la democracia de su pa\u00eds, la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana y su conexi\u00f3n con los comunitarios de origen quisqueyanos que pueblan el Estado de Nueva York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c El alcalde Toribio es ejemplo del servio p\u00fablico en su demarcaci\u00f3n que ha luchado por el bienestar de sus conciudadanos dentro y fuera del municipio que me vio nacer y crecer , Guayubin, tierra que amamos y que mantenemos una fuerte relaci\u00f3n de amistad\u201d, manifest\u00f3 el representante \u00c1lvarez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c Debo resaltar la entrega que no solo como alcalde y diputado sino como profesional de la ingenier\u00eda en la rama de la agricultura, es una muestra de dedicaci\u00f3n por el campo y la cuidad\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLos neoyorquinos nos sentimos altamente honrados con la visita a nuestro Estado del alcalde Samuel, un ser humano que atreves de su labor a predicado con el ejemplo y su compromiso esta ligado a administrar lo cosa p\u00fablica utilizando de manera muy inteligente el presupuesto de su municipio\u201d, agreg\u00f3 el legislador \u00c1lvarez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De su lado, Toribio agradeci\u00f3 el gesto del primer dominicano que ocupa la posici\u00f3n de asamble\u00edsta por el Distrito 78, hemos visto como durante su vida el amigo y representante \u00c1lvarez se ha dedicado por entero desde sus infancia a preocuparse por los dem\u00e1s tanto en la educaci\u00f3n, un techo, seguridad, alimentaci\u00f3n \u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La reuni\u00f3n entre ambos oficiales electos se llev\u00f3 a cabo en la Oficina Distrital del Asamble\u00edsta George Alvarez, ubicada en el 2633 de avenida Webster, condado de El Bronx en la Gran Manzana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sobre Samuel Toribio<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante su estudios universitarios impart\u00eda docencia en algunos colegios privados en Santo Domingo, para el a\u00f1o de 1988 inicia sus labores como administrador en el proyecto Agrario Dominicano IAD RD, tambi\u00e9n durante a\u00f1os en la regional #8, con asiento en la ciudad de Mao, provincia Valverde, el area de producci\u00f3n de la misma, luego fue nombrado como gerente del proyecto del Norte, tambi\u00e9n se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como subdirector provincial de la direcci\u00f3n general de frontera Montecristi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carrera pol\u00edtica<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En el a\u00f1o 2002 es electo alcalde del municipio San Ignacio d e Guayub\u00edn, periodo 2002-2016 de manera ininterrumpida, luego asume el reto como diputado de su provincia Montecristi durante el periodo 2016-2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toribio m\u00e1s tarde regresa como alcalde de su municipio Guayub\u00edn para el actual periodo 2020-2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
