Su talento fue descubierto por el compositor Obdulio Morales, para quien Bacallao trabajaba como empleada dom\u00e9stica. Juana Bacallao \u00abmarc\u00f3 un hito en la historia del cabaret cubano, desde la d\u00e9cada del 50 del pasado siglo hasta hace apenas unos a\u00f1os\u00bb, precis\u00f3 el Ministerio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Su debut tuvo lugar en el Teatro Mart\u00ed de La Habana, donde interpret\u00f3 su guaracha \u2018Yo soy Juana Bacallao\u2019, tomando este nombre como seud\u00f3nimo art\u00edstico.
