La presente labor gubernamental en turismo es una continuidad de lo que se ven\u00eda haciendo y que, quiz\u00e1s, es de lo \u00fanico que se puede hablar\u201d, indic\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TEMA HAITIANO<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sobre el tema haitiano, Vargas record\u00f3 que durante su funci\u00f3n como canciller se elabor\u00f3 en Texas, Estados Unidos, un pacto bilateral, denominado el \u201cacuerdo de Laredo\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dijo que dicho convenio contempla la creaci\u00f3n de una franja de desarrollo a lo largo de toda la frontera dom\u00ednico-haitiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A su juicio, esta constituir\u00eda un verdadero muro de contenci\u00f3n a las migraciones irregulares, que garantice el desarrollo de toda el \u00e1rea lim\u00edtrofe con Hait\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vargas insisti\u00f3 en que el gobierno ha mostrado un manejo err\u00e1tico en cuanto al vecino pa\u00eds.
