Posteriormente, tom\u00f3 su tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil y expres\u00f3 que es un polic\u00eda que hace un \u201ccollar\u201d (jerga usada por la polic\u00eda para una detenci\u00f3n) por robo de servicio, el cargo cubre la evasi\u00f3n de tarifas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando el turista de 46 a\u00f1os trat\u00f3 de alejarse, Ogrady le roci\u00f3 gas pimienta en la nuca. La v\u00edctima tom\u00f3 un taxi hasta el Hospital Bellevue para recibir atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica por quemaduras e hinchaz\u00f3n en el rostro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las autoridades dijeron que el falso detective se subi\u00f3 a un tren R de la zona alta. Los oficiales recuperaron im\u00e1genes de vigilancia de Ogrady saliendo de la estaci\u00f3n 8th Street-NYU luego de bajarse del tren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El jueves, el NYPD public\u00f3 las im\u00e1genes del sospechoso junto con su escudo falso y solicit\u00f3 ayuda public\u00f3 para identificarlo y ubicarlo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despu\u00e9s, los detectives identificaron al falso polic\u00eda como Ogrady. Bajo su alias de Domingo D\u00edaz, cumpli\u00f3 condena de seis a\u00f1os de c\u00e1rcel tras ser sorprendido con un arma de fuego en Harlem el 18 de octubre de 2007 y lo declararon culpable de intento de posesi\u00f3n de armas. Sali\u00f3 de prisi\u00f3n en 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre sus antecedentes se incluye arrestos por hurto mayor y posesi\u00f3n de un instrumento falsificado, manifestaron los agentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Departamento de Polic\u00eda de Nueva York est\u00e1 solicitando a cualquier persona que tenga informaci\u00f3n sobre el paradero de Ogrady que llame a Crime Stoppers al (800) 577-TIPS.
