{"id":57039,"date":"2024-07-03T12:13:07","date_gmt":"2024-07-03T16:13:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/romanticany.com\/?p=57039"},"modified":"2024-07-03T12:13:07","modified_gmt":"2024-07-03T16:13:07","slug":"empleadores-de-new-york-ahora-deben-informar-a-los-trabajadores-sus-derechos-laborales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/romanticany.com\/?p=57039","title":{"rendered":"Empleadores de New York ahora deben informar a los trabajadores sus derechos laborales"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Una ordenanza local indica que empleadores deben de informar a sus trabajadores de sus derechos laborales.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NUEVA YORK &#8212; Desde el inicio de julio, los empleadores en la Ciudad de Nueva York deben informar a sus trabajadores sobre sus derechos de manera multiling\u00fce, sin importar su estado migratorio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Departamento de Protecci\u00f3n al Consumidor y al Trabajador ha implementado la ordenanza local \u00abConoce tus Derechos en el Trabajo\u00bb, que establece que los trabajadores deben conocer sus derechos y que sus empleadores est\u00e1n legalmente obligados a informarles de los mismos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta informaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 disponible en un p\u00f3ster creado por el Departamento de Protecci\u00f3n al Consumidor y al Trabajador, el cual los empleadores deben entregar a cada empleado antes del 1 de julio. Despu\u00e9s de esta fecha, los empleadores deben proporcionar copias del p\u00f3ster a los nuevos trabajadores antes o en su primer d\u00eda de trabajo. Adem\u00e1s, se requiere que los empleadores coloquen el p\u00f3ster en un lugar visible y en las plataformas digitales de la empresa para facilitar el acceso a los trabajadores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los trabajadores pueden escanear el c\u00f3digo QR en el p\u00f3ster o visitar nyc.gov\/workers para informarse sobre sus derechos laborales, disponibles en varios idiomas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cu\u00e1les son algunos de los derechos de los trabajadores en NYC<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uno de los derechos principales es que el empleador no puede tomar represalias contra el trabajador que decida ejercer sus derechos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre otros derechos disponibles se encuentran el derecho a un salario justo con horas determinadas, d\u00edas de enfermedad, el derecho a cambios temporales de horario por hasta dos d\u00edas h\u00e1biles al a\u00f1o para ciertos eventos personales, y el derecho a tomar tiempo libre no remunerado, entre otros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, se han a\u00f1adido especificaciones para trabajadores que laboran en lugares de comida r\u00e1pida, seguridad en comercios minoristas y servicios p\u00fablicos, repartidores, trabajadores independientes y empleados de tiendas de comestibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si los trabajadores tienen alguna duda o queja, pueden comunicarse llamando al 311 y especificar la ley de protecci\u00f3n al trabajador para recibir la ayuda necesaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u00f3nde puedo encontrar m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n sobre mis derechos<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.nyc.gov\/site\/dca\/workers\/workersrights\/know-your-worker-rights.page\n<\/div><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Una ordenanza local indica que empleadores deben de informar a sus trabajadores de sus derechos laborales.
