Juan Marichal fue el primero en obtener el prestigioso premio, mientras que el \u00faltimo fue Vladimir Guerrero Jr.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un total de ocho peloteros dominicanos han podido acreditarse el premio de Jugador M\u00e1s Valioso del Juego de Estrellas. Esta noche, 11 criollos tendr\u00e1n la oportunidad de ser el noveno criollo en lograrlo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El total de dominicanos que disputar\u00e1n el partido esta noche deber\u00eda ser 12, pero el toletero de los Medias Rojas de Boston decidi\u00f3 no jugar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre los ocho dominicanos que han ganado el MVP, dos son lanzadores, y de los seis de posici\u00f3n, cuatro fueron titulares y dos entraron como reservas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Juan Marichal: El primer dominicano inducido al del Sal\u00f3n de la Fama de Cooperstown obtuvo el premio MVP en el Juego de Estrellas del 1965, que se celebr\u00f3 en el antiguo Metropolitan Stadium, en Minnesota. Lanz\u00f3 3 entradas completas, admiti\u00f3 solo 1 hit y no regal\u00f3 bases bolas. Al final su equipo se impuso 6 carreras por 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Julio Franco: El primer criollo en ser seleccionado como Jugador M\u00e1s Valioso en un Juego de Estrellas viniendo desde la banca fue el eterno Julio Franco, de los Vigilantes de Texas, quien en la edici\u00f3n de 1990 dispar\u00f3 un doblete remolcador de las \u00fanicas dos vueltas del partido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pedro Mart\u00ednez: En el 1999, con el juego en Fenway Park, el as de los Medias Rojas, que tuvo una efectividad de 1.80 en casa, se gan\u00f3 el visto bueno inicial y subi\u00f3 al mont\u00edculo frente a los fan\u00e1ticos locales. Su actuaci\u00f3n fue hist\u00f3rica: Seis bateadores, cinco ponches. Una elecci\u00f3n f\u00e1cil para el MVP del All-Star Game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alfonso Soriano: El nativo de San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, se convirti\u00f3 en el 2004 en el primer pelotero criollo en ganar el MVP siendo titular en el Juego de Estrellas, adem\u00e1s de que tambi\u00e9n ha sido el \u00fanico del pa\u00eds en ganar el mismo premio en el partido de Futuras Estrellas, cuando lo hizo en el 1999. En ambos juegos peg\u00f3 cuadrangular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miguel Tejada: Un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s de ganar el Derby de Jonrones (2004), el oriundo de Ban\u00ed hizo lo propio con el MVP del All-Star Game. En su primer partido del Juego de Estrellas, Tejada conect\u00f3 un jonr\u00f3n en solitario contra John Smoltz de los Bravos de Atlanta, dio un hit de sacrificio impulsor y fue parte de la ejecuci\u00f3n de un doble play con su compa\u00f1ero de equipo Brian Roberts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Melky Cabrera: Conect\u00f3 un sencillo en el primero y peg\u00f3 un jonr\u00f3n de dos carreras en el cuarto, en la victoria por blanqueada de 8-0 de la Liga Nacional en el 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robinson Can\u00f3: Se convirti\u00f3 en el segundo jugador dominicano en ganar el MVP siendo reserva, luego de que primero lo hizo Franco. Can\u00f3 dispar\u00f3 el cuadrangular ganador del encuentro en el d\u00e9cimo episodio, donde el venezolano Jos\u00e9 Altuve fue el intermedista titular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vladimir Guerrero Jr.: Hasta el momento ha sido el \u00faltimo dominicano en ganar el premio. En el juego del 2021, quien conect\u00f3 un jonr\u00f3n clave para el triunfo de la Liga Americana 5-2 sobre la Liga Nacional. Su jonr\u00f3n fue el n\u00famero 200 en la historia del Juego de Estrellas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
