V\u00e1squez, quien anteriormente se desempe\u00f1aba como ministro de Interior y Polic\u00eda, ser\u00e1 reemplazado en ese cargo por Faride Raful. Estas designaciones entrar\u00e1n en vigencia el 16 de agosto pr\u00f3ximo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El decreto 420-24, que contiene estos nombramientos, tambi\u00e9n designa a Eligio J\u00e1quez como asesor en materia de Agricultura del Poder Ejecutivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan un breve comunicado de la Presidencia, \u00abla experiencia de V\u00e1squez en la gesti\u00f3n de la seguridad y el orden p\u00fablico ser\u00e1 invaluable en su nuevo rol, donde se espera que contin\u00fae fortaleciendo las relaciones entre la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana y la comunidad dominicana en Nueva York. Esta designaci\u00f3n entrar\u00e1 en vigor el 16 de agosto de 2024\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asimismo, Eligio Antonio J\u00e1quez Cruz ha sido designado a t\u00edtulo honor\u00edfico. \u00abDurante su tiempo como c\u00f3nsul, J\u00e1quez desempe\u00f1\u00f3 un papel crucial en la representaci\u00f3n y apoyo a los ciudadanos dominicanos en el extranjero. Ahora, en su nueva funci\u00f3n, aportar\u00e1 su vasta experiencia para asesorar en temas agr\u00edcolas, contribuyendo al desarrollo y sostenibilidad del sector en el pa\u00eds.
