Fern\u00e1ndez en el Palacio Nacional.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan destac\u00f3 Fern\u00e1ndez, el convenio fomenta el crecimiento, la competencia, y proporciona claros beneficios para el consumidor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abDamos la bienvenida a la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana para que se una a esta comunidad de socios comprometidos con el mantenimiento de un mercado de servicios a\u00e9reos abierto y moderno\u00ab, manifest\u00f3 el funcionario estadounidense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jos\u00e9 W. Fern\u00e1ndez agreg\u00f3 que este acuerdo reforzar\u00e1 el turismo, los viajes y los lazos comerciales entre ambos pa\u00edses. \u00abTambi\u00e9n servir\u00e1 a los intereses de nuestros pueblos al aumentar la disponibilidad de vuelos y reducir los costos\u00bb, dijo<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abEsta es una ocasi\u00f3n muy importante para nuestros dos pa\u00edses porque la aviaci\u00f3n une a las personas. Tenemos una larga y pr\u00f3spera historia juntos. Nuestras naciones est\u00e1n inextricablemente unidas: 2.4 millones de personas de ascendencia dominicana viven en los Estados Unidos y 300,000 ciudadanos estadounidenses residen en la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana.
