Espaillat logr\u00f3 obtener con \u00e9xito casi $1 mill\u00f3n de d\u00f3lares durante el proceso de financiaci\u00f3n federal del a\u00f1o fiscal 2024 en beneficio del Proyecto del NYPD de Prevenci\u00f3n del Crimen en Peque\u00f1as Empresas del Norte de Manhattan. La inversi\u00f3n comunitaria se utilizar\u00e1 para implementar instalaciones de seguridad preventiva en apoyo de las peque\u00f1as empresas de la regi\u00f3n, incluidas la Asociaci\u00f3n de Bodegas, el Distrito de Mejoramiento Comercial de la calle 181 (BID), la Asociaci\u00f3n de Comerciantes de Inwood, la C\u00e1mara de Comercio del Gran Harlem, la Alianza Frederick Douglass, la Asociaci\u00f3n de Comerciantes Yemen\u00ed Estadounidenses, entre otras. El NYPD, en coordinaci\u00f3n con cada una de las asociaciones, organizar\u00e1 eventos comunitarios que tengan como objetivo fortalecer las relaciones y promover la seguridad p\u00fablica a trav\u00e9s del desarrollo de estrategias de prevenci\u00f3n del crimen en los vecindarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante la conferencia de prensa, el Rep.
