Como resultado, el sector report\u00f3 US$9,751.0 millones, seg\u00fan datos del Banco Central.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un factor que tambi\u00e9n influye en los ingresos generados por el sector turismo es el gasto de los cruceristas. Aunque desde la Autoridad Portuaria Dominicana (Apordom) aseguran e insisten en que cada uno de los pasajeros de las embarcaciones que llegan a los puertos dominicanos desembarcan, estos no pernotan y solo las l\u00edneas pueden confirmar ese dato. Aun as\u00ed, desde el Banco Central hacen estimaciones sobre la derrama econ\u00f3mica de estos visitantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sobre el consumo de los excursionistas que visitaron RD durante el 2023, se registr\u00f3 un gasto promedio de US$103.7 en su visita a los diferentes puertos del pa\u00eds. De manera espec\u00edfica, desde el Banco Central estiman que los cruceristas que arribaron por el puerto de La Romana presentaron una erogaci\u00f3n de US$111.7, mientras aquellos que utilizaron el Santo Domingo y Saman\u00e1 gastaron US$86.1 y US$67.0, respectivamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el primer trimestre de 2024, en las terminales de cruceros se registraron 869,385 pasajeros, para un crecimiento de 8.37% respecto al mismo per\u00edodo de un a\u00f1o antes, cuando se reportaron 802,260. Sin embargo, de la totalidad citada en los primeros tres meses del a\u00f1o, 266,632 ser\u00edan pasajeros de entrada, es decir, que llegan, y 600,197 \u201cen tr\u00e1nsito\u201d, es decir, aquellos que \u201cbajan y suben al crucero mientras se encuentra en el puerto\u201d, seg\u00fan El Dinero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde el Ministerio de Turismo (Mitur) aseguran que alcanzar los 10 millones de visitantes, implicar\u00eda un ingreso de US$10,000 millones.
