En septiembre el alcalde declar\u00f3 que la llegada masiva de inmigrantes \u201cdestruir\u00e1\u201d a la ciudad, alegando falta de recursos y apoyo del gobierno de Joe Biden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ayer Adams anunci\u00f3 que viajar\u00e1 a Chicago la pr\u00f3xima semana para hablar en la Convenci\u00f3n Nacional Dem\u00f3crata (DNC) que se celebrar\u00e1 del 19 al 22 de agosto, y en la que se espera que la actual vicepresidenta Kamala Harris sea proclamada candidata del partido de gobierno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En su tradicional encuentro de los martes con los periodistas el alcalde dijo que estaba \u201cemocionado\u201d de reunirse con otros dem\u00f3cratas a quienes no identific\u00f3, pero que seg\u00fan \u00e9l han elogiado la gesti\u00f3n de la crisis migratoria de la ciudad de Nueva York por parte de su gobierno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEl objetivo es claro: la seguridad p\u00fablica revitaliza nuestra econom\u00eda y hace que nuestra ciudad y nuestro pa\u00eds sean lo m\u00e1s habitables posible\u201d, dijo Adams. \u201cCreo que los dem\u00f3cratas tienen un buen plan.
