Francia Vargas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligio J\u00e1quez ha cumplido con honor una de las tareas m\u00e1s encomiables de su vida. El Honorable C\u00f3nsul de Nueva York se despide dejando un historial de funcionabilidad, humildad y responsabilidad. La transformaci\u00f3n y multiplicaci\u00f3n del Consulado Dominicano en Nueva York es su legado principal. Aunque sus exitosas gestiones incrementando la exportaci\u00f3n de productos agr\u00edcolas dominicanos hacia los mercados estadounidenses no es menos meritoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/romanticany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/WhatsApp-Image-2024-08-19-at-6.00.53-PM-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-61117\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En adicion, Eligio transform\u00f3 la imagen de los c\u00f3nsules dominicanos en esta gran urbe. Antes de su llegada estos sol\u00edan ser arist\u00f3cratas e inaccesibles. El, en cambio, fue humilde y convirti\u00f3 el consulado en la casa de todos. Incorpor\u00f3 los servicios gubernamentales del pa\u00eds, dando soluciones a muchos problemas de nuestros con-ciudadanos y haciendo acopio al prop\u00f3sito del Excelent\u00edsimo Presidente Luis Abinader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligio se despide con la satisfacci\u00f3n del deber cumplido, estuvo en todas partes, fue un c\u00f3nsul simp\u00e1tico y emp\u00e1tico con todos. Dio c\u00e1tedras de dominicanidad, buen humor y humildad. Ya nada volver\u00e1 a ser igual en el consulado de Nueva York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como si todo esto fuera poco, se cas\u00f3 con la gloria al tomar en cuenta a los dominicanos de Nueva Jersey y Pennsylvania, obteniendo del gobierno la creaci\u00f3n de sendos consulados, anteponiendo los intereses de los dominicanos de estos estados a los del Consulado de Nueva York, \u00a1c\u00f3mo no sentirnos orgullosos de \u00e9l!.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el aspecto comunitario dio c\u00e1tedras de participaci\u00f3n y generosidad, de todas partes le llovieron los reconocimientos. Y respecto al pol\u00edtico, nombr\u00f3 a tanto compa\u00f1eros como nunca nadie lo hab\u00eda hecho. Por todo ello, no sorprendi\u00f3 que en la campa\u00f1a fuera designado Coordinador de la Circunscripci\u00f3n No. 1. posici\u00f3n desde la que realiz\u00f3 un trabajo encomiable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La grandeza de ese hombre brillar\u00e1 por siempre en el cielo neoyorkino. Eligio J\u00e1quez sale de Nueva York por la puerta grande y la frente en alto, todos le estamos agradecidos. Y si vuelve a nacer volver\u00e1 a ser dominicano.
