Este n\u00famero r\u00e9cord de calles abiertas para el inicio del a\u00f1o escolar se ha logrado gracias a una inversi\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica de 30 millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ydanis Rodr\u00edguez, comisionado del NYC DOT, destac\u00f3 que este incremento en las Calles Abiertas es el resultado directo del compromiso de la agencia para expandir el programa mediante nuevos fondos y asociaciones estrat\u00e9gicas. El programa, conocido como \u00abOpen Streets\u00bb, ha sido fundamental para mejorar la seguridad de los ni\u00f1os, facilitar el proceso de recogida y entrega de estudiantes, y crear espacios adicionales para el juego y el aprendizaje al aire libre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00abLas calles han sido tradicionalmente un lugar para el juego y la socializaci\u00f3n de los ni\u00f1os. Con nuestro programa Open Streets, estamos redefiniendo este espacio para que los ni\u00f1os en edad escolar puedan aprender y desarrollarse en un entorno seguro y enriquecedor. Este logro hist\u00f3rico refleja nuestros esfuerzos continuos para mejorar el programa mediante la asignaci\u00f3n de nuevos recursos y colaboraciones con organizaciones como Street Lab, que juegan un papel clave en conectar a las comunidades y ofrecer actividades atractivas para los ni\u00f1os\u00bb, coment\u00f3 Rodr\u00edguez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El programa Open Streets para escuelas no solo proporciona un entorno seguro y accesible para las actividades escolares, sino que tambi\u00e9n apoya a los padres y tutores al simplificar el proceso de recogida y entrega.
