Pero ni siquiera esta gran campa\u00f1a est\u00e1 excepta a malas rachas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En sus \u00faltimos siete partidos, en los que ha tomado 27 turnos al bate, el dominicano tiene apenas tres hits, para un bajo .111 de promedio, con siete ponches, y tres bases por bolas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Debido a ese pobre rendimiento en la \u00faltima semana, Soto ha visto descender su promedio de .302 a .291, y ahora peligra lo que hace semanas se ve\u00eda como algo muy probable: que d\u00e9 30 o m\u00e1s jonrones y bate\u00e9 por encima de .300 en la misma temporada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La mala racha de Soto comenz\u00f3 desde el jueves 22 de agosto en el \u00faltimo partido de la serie contra los Guardianes de Cleveland, sigui\u00f3 con los Rockies de Colorado, exceptuando el partido del domingo, y se ha mantenido hasta el juego m\u00e1s reciente que disput\u00f3, que fue el pasado mi\u00e9rcoles contra los Nacionales de Washington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El mal momento de Soto se ve a\u00fan peor si el rango se reduce solo a sus \u00faltimos tres partidos, en los que no peg\u00f3 hit en ninguno (de 12-0), con cuatro ponches y solo una bases por bolas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los Yankees obviamente han sentido la ausencia de la ofensiva de Soto, pues terminaron perdiendo sus \u00faltimos dos partidos frente a los Nacionales, equipo que tiene 17 derrotas m\u00e1s que \u201cLos Mulos del Bronx\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En sentido general, adem\u00e1s de su promedio de bateo de .291, Soto tambi\u00e9n ha destacado en el poder.
