Acu\u00f1a, de 22 a\u00f1os, se une al equipo grande luego de destacarse en Triple A con la filial de los Mets, donde ha tenido una destacada temporada con siete cuadrangulares, 50 carreras impulsadas, 90 hits y un promedio de .258 en 130 partidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Acu\u00f1a, hermano menor del MVP Ronald Acu\u00f1a, fue adquirido por los Mets desde los Texas Rangers la pasada temporada. Su ascenso se debe en parte a la lesi\u00f3n de Jeff McNeil y la reciente molestia en la espalda baja de Francisco Lindor, quien dej\u00f3 el juego. Luisangel Acu\u00f1a puede jugar tanto como campocorto como en la segunda base, ofreciendo flexibilidad al manager Carlos Mendoza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAhora mismo estoy en una situaci\u00f3n en la que me he ocupado de ello y creo en lo que hicieron los entrenadores. Ma\u00f1ana me despertar\u00e9 y ver\u00e9. Dar\u00e9 una actualizaci\u00f3n ma\u00f1ana cuando me despierte y hablar\u00e9 con los entrenadores y partiremos de ah\u00ed\u201d, coment\u00f3 Lindor despu\u00e9s del partido. El manager Mendoza agreg\u00f3: \u201cAcabo de hablar con \u00e9l y le dije que ten\u00eda una rigidez en la espalda cuando lleg\u00f3 a la segunda base.
