Los extranjeros fueron interceptados mientras se desplazaban a pie por \u00e1reas monta\u00f1osas cercanas a la frontera o eran transportados en distintos veh\u00edculos, los cuales fueron retenidos por las autoridades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Interceptaciones en Diversas Localidades<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uno de los mayores grupos, compuesto por 46 haitianos indocumentados, fue detenido en las cercan\u00edas de la comunidad Cuyacal, Montecristi, por patrullas del ERD. Otros 10 fueron capturados en el sector La Pe\u00f1a cuando intentaban evadir el puesto de chequeo de Mang\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el tramo carretero Cerro Gordo-Ranchadero, una motoneta tipo \u00abMargarita\u00bb, marca TVS, color rojo y con placa K2368906, fue retenida con siete ciudadanos haitianos a bordo. En la comunidad de Pe\u00f1uela, un veh\u00edculo compacto marca Fiat Uno transportaba 11 inmigrantes en situaci\u00f3n migratoria irregular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el municipio de Villa V\u00e1squez, 11 haitianos sin documentos fueron arrestados mientras se desplazaban en dos motocicletas por el sector de Botoncillo, Montecristi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Procedimientos y Entrega a Migraci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Todos los extranjeros detenidos ser\u00e1n entregados a la Direcci\u00f3n General de Migraci\u00f3n para los procedimientos correspondientes. Las autoridades contin\u00faan reforzando la vigilancia fronteriza y realizando operativos en distintos puntos del pa\u00eds para contrarrestar el tr\u00e1fico de inmigrantes y el comercio il\u00edcito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Incautaci\u00f3n de Mercanc\u00eda de Contrabando<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En un operativo paralelo, miembros del ERD apostados en el Destacamento Las Caobas incautaron 38,000 unidades de cigarrillos marca Capital, ocultos en el cap\u00f3 y ba\u00fal de una jeepeta Toyota Rav4, color gris, placa G516805. El conductor del veh\u00edculo, identificado como Vladimir Omar Ure\u00f1a, fue detenido y enviado a la justicia, acusado de transportar mercanc\u00eda de contrabando.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Detenciones y Veh\u00edculos Retenidos<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los conductores de la motoneta y el Fiat Uno, identificados como Juan de Jes\u00fas Rodr\u00edguez y Kelvin Torres Peralta, fueron puestos a disposici\u00f3n del Ministerio P\u00fablico para enfrentar cargos por tr\u00e1fico de indocumentados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En otra operaci\u00f3n realizada en la comunidad La Reforma, municipio Guayub\u00edn, Montecristi, un autom\u00f3vil Kia K5, color blanco, placa A899219, fue encontrado con ocho haitianos indocumentados en su interior, luego de que su conductor huyera al notar la presencia militar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el sector Pe\u00f1uela, Valverde, otro veh\u00edculo Hyundai Sonata, color gris, placa A735578, fue abandonado con 17 inmigrantes en condici\u00f3n migratoria irregular.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>En una serie de operativos de interdicci\u00f3n realizados el pasado fin de semana, el Ej\u00e9rcito de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana (ERD) detuvo a 110 inmigrantes haitianos en condici\u00f3n migratoria irregular en diversas zonas de las provincias Montecristi y Valverde.
