Durante una entrevista en LA Semanal, Abinader fue claro al afirmar que el pa\u00eds no tiene la obligaci\u00f3n ni est\u00e1 dispuesto a recibir personas deportadas por los Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Posici\u00f3n del Gobierno Dominicano<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEl lugar m\u00e1s lejos que nosotros vamos a aceptar retener, que vengan gente es de Pedernales\u201d, dijo Abinader. \u201cNosotros ni tenemos obligaci\u00f3n ni aceptaremos recibir personas de otros pa\u00edses, solamente los dominicanos que tenemos el deber y el derecho de hacerlo\u201d, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 el mandatario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Situaci\u00f3n de Dominicanos en Estados Unidos<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abinader tambi\u00e9n mencion\u00f3 que la mayor\u00eda de los dominicanos en Estados Unidos tienen un estatus migratorio legal, aunque no proporcion\u00f3 cifras espec\u00edficas. Adem\u00e1s, inform\u00f3 que el \u00fanico lugar donde los c\u00f3nsules dominicanos han tenido que acudir en \u00abayuda\u00bb de los ciudadanos que pueden ser repatriados ha sido en Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Repatriaciones en Puerto Rico<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan varias publicaciones del peri\u00f3dico puertorrique\u00f1o El Nuevo D\u00eda, al menos 11 dominicanos acudieron a la embajada de Rep\u00fablica Dominicana en esa isla para facilitar su repatriaci\u00f3n al pa\u00eds. Adem\u00e1s, las escuelas de San Juan, donde hay un alto n\u00famero de ni\u00f1os dominicanos, han presentado un ausentismo del 60 al 70% luego de que se anunciaran las interdicciones y repatriaciones a cargo del Servicio de Inmigraci\u00f3n y Control de Aduanas de EE. UU. (ICE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reacci\u00f3n de la Comunidad Dominicana<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En Puerto Rico, la comunidad dominicana ha manifestado su temor por el cumplimiento de esta medida migratoria anunciada por el presidente Donald Trump.
