Jim\u00e9nez era buscado por diversos delitos, incluyendo homicidio y herida de bala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Detalles del Enfrentamiento<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo con el informe preliminar, un equipo de oficiales y alistados de la Direcci\u00f3n Central de Investigaci\u00f3n (Dicrim) de Santo Domingo Este, con el apoyo de la unidad local en Azua, intent\u00f3 arrestar a \u00abChiqui\u00bb. Este era buscado mediante la orden judicial de arresto No. 530-2024-EMES-02041, relacionada con el homicidio de Julio C\u00e9sar Medina, alias \u00abEl Peluche\u00bb, y la herida de Jos\u00e9 Manuel Pir\u00f3n Villanueva, alias \u00abSandino\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Intercambio de Disparos<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan la Polic\u00eda, Jim\u00e9nez atac\u00f3 a los agentes con una pistola calibre 9mm, sin marca ni numeraci\u00f3n visible, obligando a los miembros policiales a repeler la agresi\u00f3n. Durante el enfrentamiento, Jim\u00e9nez result\u00f3 herido y posteriormente falleci\u00f3 mientras era atendido en el Hospital Regional Taiw\u00e1n 19 de Marzo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Evidencias Recolectadas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el lugar del hecho, la Polic\u00eda Cient\u00edfica recolect\u00f3 la pistola utilizada por el occiso y cinco casquillos calibre 9mm.
