El pont\u00edfice enfatiz\u00f3 que los militares deben considerarse \u00abservidores de la seguridad y de la libertad de sus pueblos\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Defensa Leg\u00edtima y Respeto a las Convenciones Internacionales<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En su homil\u00eda, el papa Francisco recalc\u00f3 que las fuerzas armadas solo deben usarse en leg\u00edtima defensa y nunca para dominar a otro pa\u00eds. \u00abEste servicio armado s\u00f3lo ha de ejercerse en defensa propia, nunca para imponer la dominaci\u00f3n sobre otras naciones y siempre respetando las convenciones internacionales sobre conflictos\u00bb, afirm\u00f3 el jesuita argentino de 88 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dificultades para Respirar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante la misa, el sumo pont\u00edfice pidi\u00f3 ayuda para terminar de leer su homil\u00eda debido a dificultades para respirar.
